For starters, their orange uniforms have to be the worst shade of the worst color in the visible light spectrum.
Dooley just happened to like it, or was color blind.

I think Strong is waiting to see what Louisville's offer is going to be.
One thing to consider, Louisville has to realize the vulnerable position it's in given the changes going on to college football. They are going to everything they can to remain viable, including holding on to what they feel is a top-tier coach.

He's obsessed with me, simply because I'm a Razorbacks fan.

1) The awful pumpkin orange the HC would have to wear all the time
2) Concern over fans doing this during games

You've all gone full retard. I almost forgot how good LSU was before Saban & Miles got there and saved the shite hole that was the 90's in BR
Or How Alabama was during the Shula era
You act like a program thats down can never get back up , well

It was easy for those 2 schools to come back because of their in-state recruiting. UT doesn't have that. When UT was dominant LSU, UGA, Bama, USCe weren't anything close to what they are today. Look at the rosters of UT in the 90's....tons of all-americans from La., Alabama, Georgia, So. Carolina. Most of those kids are staying home now.
Good Luck

Is Alabama actually a good recruiting ground? Bama only has 5 out of their 19 recruits from Alabama.

It sucks, but it's a true statement. They will have to get a guy that can not only recruit nationally, but be able to work with less and turn 3 stars into 4-5 ers.

We're thinking about dropping football - or maybe just forfeiting for a couple of years until Gruden is ready.

so what is it that's holding coaches back from signing on the dotted line?
It's Tennessee, what else is there to ask? The administration there is a dumpster fire, no sane man would want to walk back into a burning building just to watch a re-run of Seinfeld.

Probation, a fan base that thinks their team is still relevant on the national stage (and demand any coach gets them there in 2 years), instability from the top down in the university, financial problems to the tune of borrowing $18mill from academics, and a poor record with coaches over the last few years.

It isn't Florida, but it isn't chopped liver either.
These guys are all home grown major contributors on just Bama's roster. Almost all would be playing or starting anywhere.
AJ McCarron
TJ Yeldon
Deion Belue
D.J. Fluker
Jalston Fowler
Nico Johnson
Christion Jones
Robert Lester
Dee Milliner
C.J. Mosley
Michael Williams
Nick Perry

Is Tenn out of the woods on NCAA issues involving the Kiffen regime?
If there are financial problems with the program, that remders moot all this talk about history.
