I could go, but I have no desire to go to Arizona. If it was in Miami or Pasadena, I'd be there.

Most Alabama fans can't afford to travel that far.

Coming from the one state clearly poorer than Bama, and the one fanbase notorious for traveling poorly. Amazing.

By "traveled out" do you mean "poor sidewalk fans that can't afford to leave the trailer park"? If so, I agree
No, he means it is hard to fork over $2,000 a year for a football trip 4 of the last 5 years and then $3,500 this year for it in addition to having season tickets, donations required and, you know, supporting a family.
I know you guys don't really know much about the whole "traveling to playoff/BCS games" since you only seem to play them in New Orleans, but it isn't exactly something most people can do once, led alone every season.

I'm a pretty well compensated professional in a big city and this is the first time I've been able to convince myself to spend $3,500 to go to Alabama football games at the end of the year.
But yea, I'm sure other SEC schools fans would be flying first class and staying at the Ritz every year. We all know that is the reputation of people from Mississippi and Louisiana. Bleeding cash.

According to these statistics, 20.3% of South Carolinians live in trailers compared to 16.8% of Alabamans. LINK And Bama shares its state with a much more relevant program, and a rural farming school more attractive to that demographic. Clemson on the other hand is a much bigger program relative to their state rival, and Clemson is the rural farming school. In conclusion, getting out of the trailer homes is certainly a bigger problem for Clemson fans than Alabama fans.

My favorite part is if Alabama people all show up at a game like this then they are all "crazy folk spendin all dat der welfare money on da tahd" and if they don't go they are "bunch of poors that live in trailers".
People are just stupid. Or bad at trolling. Or both.

For me and my wife, the Orange Bowl was more affordable. A $4,500 trip less than 2 weeks later just wasn't feasible for us.

Which somehow, in the eyes of the rant, makes you a poor trailer trash living hillbilly or something.

40% Bama
5% Bama haters
10% Clemson fans that know what they are up against
45% Clueless Clemson fans that believe 100% they are going to win.

I haven't seen many of those. I think most of them are confident in their team (they should be), but understand that we are the Evil Empire and they will have their hands full.

Probably about 50-50 just like the Cotton Bowl.
The Cotton Bowl was not 50-50. I would say 60-40 or at best 55-45. But, I'm guessing something similar for one reason. Its been 30+ years since they've been in it and it's been 3 years since we've been in it.

You think it was 60-40 Michigan State???????? No way. I was on the Alabama side 405 section 5th row, non Tide Pride and it was 90% Alabama people up there (non TP Alabama bench side). Looking down the endzones appeared to MAYBE be 60-40 Michigan State (in the non-team endzones). The Michigan State side was 95% Michigan State. So, at max it was something like 55-45 Michigan State, but probably more like 53-47 or something.

Eh, not exactly. Schools actually get way more tickets to the title game than they do the bowl games. Alabama got 13,000 Cotton Bowl tickets, they get 20,000 National Title tickets. Now, they are way more expensive, but more fans can get them at "face value" through the school than other bowls.
