What do you think the fan base spilt will be at the National Title game?

I say 60-40 Clemson.

Bama has the bigger fanbase by far but I think most of our fans are "traveled out".

This is once in a lifetime chance for Clemson fans.

I personally know about 15 Clemson fans who are going to the game. I expect there to be a lot of them out there for sure.

Probably about 50-50 just like the Cotton Bowl.

I didn't think anyone was going to Dallas, barely saw any Bammers the days before the game, Michigan State fans on cloud 9 excited and running around town..........and sure enough get in the stadium and it is split down the middle.

IDK... Bama fans who are already there are saying they haven't seen any Clemson fans hardly at all.

Clemson fans on message boards are saying they'll outnumber Bama 60-40.

I imagine it will be a pretty even split.

Sorta relevant...Saw a van this morning with SC tags and a clemson flag on the front passenger side window going through the cottondale construction zone. Guess he's driving to phoenix via i20 to i10 (through west Tejas).

It was the same way in Cali. We outnumbered Texas big time in the streets in the days leading up but at game time it was pretty even. Bama fans are just all about going out and seeing the sights and making sure everyone sees their colors. I saw fellow Bama fans at a modern art museum, and the Reagan library like 90 minutes away. I'm sure there are Bama fans crawling all over Vegas and the Grand Canyon right now

Thanks. Two of my best friends from high school went to Clemson, and they left today with their wives to fly out there. Been a damn good football season for them with Clemson and the Panthers tearing it up.

I would be shocked if that were the case.

I don't know why everyone says that. It's been 2 years since Bama won the Natty, that's pretty much 30 in Clemson years.

The real question is what will be the split in the fourth quarter.

Pretty close to 50-50 would be my guess.

I think we'll prob have the majority, but I don't know by how much. On one hand Bama has a much larger fanbase, but this is also something that hasn't happened in a lot of Clemson fans' lives.

I don't know any close friends, personally, who aren't going. At the same time, I've got tons of Bama friends and family. They were 100% in for the first National Championship, and then pretty in for the second, and then kinda in for the third. I don't know a single one going to this one, and these are all wealthy folks with plenty means to get there and afford tickets.

On other sites some ticket brokers and travel agents have chimed in and said they expect 60% Clemson. It appears on stub-hub, etc. more tickets are for sale on the Alabama side.

By "traveled out" do you mean "poor sidewalk fans that can't afford to leave the trailer park"? If so, I agree
