He is a college coach. He has won every where he has been as a college coach. I think you knew what i was saying but just had to be that bleeding vagina that every one knows you as.

A cheater? so sad. He was never implicated in any of the allegations at Memphis and UMass unlike Calhoun at UConn, Pearl at Tennessee, etc.

Plus, The NCAA hates Calipari. Dont you think they are watching every move he does at UK???????

He has no need to cheat especially at the best program in the country.

He is only because he couldn't be what he so badly wanted to be, a NBA coach.

Seems like a great guy and one helluva basketball coach. Hard to argue with continued success.

He's an incredible defensive coach though. One of the best in the country.

Agree and disagree. It is pretty easy to teach defense to 5 guys as long and athletic as he gets in, but recruiting to what type of basketball you want to play is part of coaching.

He is an elite recruiter.
He is an average X's and O's coach.
He is elite at getting superstars to play as a team and not individually.
He comes off as an arrogant prick and seems sleazier than Pitino and Pat Riley combined.

Sidney Wicks center

Well, let me help you with this game of roundball, played indoors with Keds and tank tops. Silk was not a center. Nor was Goodrich, Hazzard or Johnson. Phil Knight can't put lipstick on a pig and nor have the Sam Waltons, Jerry Jones or Don Leeberns of excessive boo$ter$. What's the excuse for these average programs since coaching doesn't matter?

Well the statement i quoted contradicts what you quoted. Its not easy to teach defense or every long and athletic basketball player would be an elite defender.

Do you know that the Running Rebels were a defense first versus O first team? The "running" was predicated on defense and not the other way around.

Getting the best, long, athletic recruits to play together and knowing all of the ins and outs of defensive strategies are two different things.

He's done a great job of recruiting one or two great shot blockers for each team to protect the rim (Davis, Noel, Cauley-Stein, Towns) and surrounds him with athletes that can close out hard and give up the drive because you've got a guy who is going to altar or block most shots in the lane. That is a pretty simple defensive strategy.

No way in hell. Pitino had sex with a woman who wasn't his wife in a restaurant then paid for the abortion. Petino is the sleaziest coach of all time.
