The grass is garbage right now. There have been meetings on how to fix it in the past couple weeks.

Ha, ha...Butch is so FOS:

quote:

“I’m not a grass expert,” Jones said at his press conference Monday. “I can’t tell you one way or the other. ... I can tell you how to defeat Cover 3 and Cover 2, but I can’t tell you about the grass.”

quote:

It’s not going by the wayside, it’s not that we’re not stepping up and being accountable. We want to get it right. That’s the most important thing is everyone together getting it right. We have that. That’s the atmosphere that we have here. We want to do things first class and get it right. We’re working on that.”

Damn, this guy has excuses for everything. Is he talking about the grass or his team? Maybe they should pave the field w/ bricks.

Just move to turf, the grass goes to shite by week 4-5 everywhere anyway.

I appreciate the authenticity of grass but it just isn't sustainable and not worth the injuries it causes.

It's shite right now because the current groundskeeper is an incompetent dumbass. It's all torn up and the players (for both UT and our opponents) slip and slide on it like it's a fricking ice rink.

TN hasn't had one ACL tear this season in 5 or 6 games there.

The field SUCKS royally, but it doesn't cause knee injuries.
