Are you really that concerned about the risk to the athletic nicknames or is this your form of melting because you don't wanna lose that super cool rebel flag decal on your truck?

I'm pretty sure there aren't actually any Nittany lions either.
Nittany lions were really just mountain lions or cougars that use to live on Mt. Nittany.

Mike gets except for some occasional wild tail. I'm sure Mike would have no problem with stud service, but Tigers are solitary animals and prefer to live alone.

Since he's a Bengal/Siberian Hybrid I'm pretty sure he's sterile

I'm pretty sure he's not.

He's an intra-specific hybrid, not an interspecific hybrid.

A jayhawk is a fictional bird based on non-fictional occurences. Jayhawkers were Kansan's during the civil war who would go to Missouri and steal back slaves for their freedom. This resulted in much blood shed and the eventual burning down of the city of Lawrence, now home of the University of Kansas.

Must have got that from a kU site. In reality Jayhawkers was the name given to Kansas Militia in the time period of Bleeding Kansas and the Civil War. They were responsible for looting, burning and murdering an untold number of Missouri CIVILIANS. Even the UNION commanding general of Missouri wanted them out of Missouri and tried to force them to stay in Kansas. They were essentially terrorist. Hijack of thread over

Sounds like the Kansans and the Missourians still haven't got this settled. However, I think all can agree that the Jayhawk used as Kansas' mascot is fictional.

I am unable to confirm or deny this. It wouldn't surprise me if LSU did this as they have consistently worked to give Mike the best possible living conditions.

PETA has always been a bit over the top. When they launched the campaign to start calling fish "sea kittens" I wondered what insane person is running that org?

I know many who think burning Lawrence to the ground still seems like a good idea.

What.....is LSU bringing the pussy to Mike in his habitat to breed? 'Cause he damn sure won't get his lazy arse in a trailer for transportion.

That cat lives like a king - he gets waited on hand and foot, I could see his handlers brining him some tail every now and then.

Don't laugh, there is already an international petition for LSU to get Mike VI off campus and abandon a live tiger mascot. It has over 65000 signatures - mostly from BF, Egypt...

Every time I see someone who suggests removing Mike from LSU, I wanna break their face with tire iron.

Georgia is in the clear. All bulldogs were asked ( American, English ,French) and they support the university 9/10. Opposed were miscegenated.
