Not sure...I will say this though...the same guy that told me Shea Patterson's brother would be hired by OM and that Patterson would commit months before it actually happened...told me he is hearing that Patterson (and his dad) is wavering big time on the commitment to OM.

Interesting and your source appears to know something deeper inside the program.

As a fan do you get a little turned off with the courting of players who need extra incentives (hire family member) then start to waver a bit? Even with the two Ls this season certainly Patterson realizes OleMiss lost a lot from last years team and the depth will return soon and the injuries will heal!

I'll go out on a limb and bet that Administration and big $ boosters will disagree a bit with that statement.

I am new here, but here is my take. Ole Miss, much like TN and Auburn do not see the big picture. They put too much emphasis on one game, whether it is beating Bama or LSU, or whoever their enemy du jour is at the time. HF and the Rebs did the same thing last year. They win one game and then think they can cakewalk into the SEC Championship game or the Playoffs. LSU is a much more respectable member of the SEC-W. They strive to equally hate everybody and to win the game no matter who they are playing. Their fan base understands this. They will direct their hate at Bama the week they play them, and they occasionally call them gumps, but there is mutual respect amongst both teams. Ole Miss will never win a SEC Championship nor a National championship until the resolve that issue. Storming the field after last year's win over Bama was a curse. Until the recover every last ounce of that goalpost, have it blessed by a priest, and buried somewhere deep in the Grove they will be forever cursed as the fat girl at the prom. OK to dance with, but nobody will take her home unless they are drunk and lonely.

The injuries will heal, but the depth is going to take a step back next year. Ole Miss is losing 5 of their top 7 OL, two of their top three receivers, possibly a TE, 4 DL, at least two LBS, and two or three players out of the secondary. That's a ton of production to replace

Could get very uncomfortable if OM loses this weekend to Aggie

Considering you have no run game I look for OM to lose to Aggie. They are gonna pin their ears back and come after Swag. That being said, A&M has no run game either.

I'll never understand why he plays a natural defensive end at running back more than he plays on the end. He is really a piece of work in terms of some of the personnel things he does.

I'm not referring to that. I'm referring to the direction of the season. The Florida loss was the only SEC loss that we could afford and not be hurt by, with regards to getting to Atlanta.

aTm really struggles to handle a power running attack (see Arky & Bama). OM has no running attack at all. Advantage aTm.

OM struggles to defend the passing game. aTm still doesn't really believe there's such a thing as the running game. Advantage aTm.

OM is almost certain to lose in convincing fashion.

Shocking that when you lose a football game "internal issues" all come to fruition and rumors begin to surface.

See Bama / Kiffin after the Ole Miss loss.

Two loses from teams with a combined record of 12-1. Any chance everyone is over reacting considering all the injuries?

It isn't that they lost, it is the manner in which they lost.

They got blown the frick out by Florida and then led Memphis 14-0 only 10:00 into the game but proceeded to get outscored 37-10 the rest of the way.

Performances like those tend to rattle a fanbase....

Yes, had the game completely under control and got away from what they were doing on offense...
In the third quarter, got into tempo on offense, scored two quick TD's to get back in it, then got away from tempo....just mind numbing shite
Let's not even talk about the 4th down calls....
