More experience/depth on defense, improved QB play no matter who is at the helm. No matter who good we are, I see at least 2/3 losses minimum.

Our team as a whole should be better and deeper at every position other than QB. OM, Bama, and AU will have the best LOS play on both sides of the ball next year. Whoever has the best QB wins the west.

Nasty defense
Too many question marks on offense to say right now.

Auburn's 2015 schedule sets up perfectly. Play Alabama, Georgia, and the two Mississippi schools at home. Road games are against bottom dwellers like LSU and atm.

Auburn also has 4 starters sitting out this year due to either injuries or transfers. Austin Golson is sitting this year after transferring from Ole Miss and Tray Matthews is sitting out after transferring from Georgia. Carl Lawson is our best defensive player and he has been out all year with a knee injury.

If you add all these things up, I think we are going back to the ship next year. Everyone else will have to deal with it

For Auburn, pretty freaking solid. We are all very excited about JJ...helluva passer. He will probably lose a target or 2 but lots of talent waiting in the wings and coming in. UPGRADE at running back, adding 2 5*'s with one already in. OL-we lose Dismukes and Slade...but twin 5*'s waiting ready to go next year in Diamond and Smith..plus we get Kozan and Miller back...I can't remember the guy's name right off hand but the center will be a JC guy that was the #1 center coming out of the JC ranks last year.

On D, losing Mincy will hurt, as will Bradley and Gabe Wright at DT...but lots of experienced depth behind those guys.

I feel really good about 2015. I have really enjoyed the Nick Marshall era but as exciting as he can be to watch, his accuracy is so frustrating to watch sometimes. JJ has the potential to be a 3000 yard, 70%, 10-to-1 ratio guy. Gus has said that JJ is going to be playing on Sundays for a long long time...NOT something he has said about Nick

For Alabama I expect the best defense since 2011 (but not 2011 good).

However, the offense could a pretty big rebuilding project. Will have a new QB again. Best skill player - Cooper - will leave early. Best offensive lineman - true Freshman Cam Robinson - coming back will help.

If a QB steps up, Alabama could be a contender next year again.

No offense, but I highly doubt he's better than Duke Williams or Cordarrelle Patterson...

Yeah, that was not a well thought out comment by skirp. Donald Gray should be a good player though.

UK looks to continue to improve in 2015.

On offense, returning starters in bold:

LT - Darrian Miller
LG - Zach West
C - Jon Toth
RG - Ramsey Meyers
RT - Jordan Swindle

WR - Demarco Robinson
WR - Ryan Timmons
WR - Javess Blue

TE - Steven Borden

QB - Patrick Towles

FB - DJ Warren

RB - Braylon Heard -or- Jojo Kemp

On defense, returning starters in bold:

DE - Za'Darius Smith
DT - Melvin Lewis
DT - Mike Douglas
DE/LB - Bud Dupree
DE/LB - Jason Hatcher

MLB - Josh Forrest
WLB - Khalid Henderson

NB - Blake McClain

CB - Fred Tiller
SS - Ashley Lowery
FS - AJ Stamps
CB - Cody Quinn

UK returns 7 starters on offense and 7 starters on defense.

The biggest losses are LT (D. Miller) and the two DE spots (Z. Smith and B. Dupree). UK loses two of three starting WRs, but replaces them with talented players who have played well this year in B. Bone and D. Baker.

UK needs an upset win to get to a bowl game (assuming UK is an underdog at MIZZ in a few weeks) in '14, but returning 4/5 of the OL, all 4 RBs, 5/7 WRs and the starting QB for 2014 should set the offense up well. Defensively, Dupree and Z. Smith will be missed tremendously, but LB and defensive secondary play should continue to improve and Hatcher will take Dupree's place as the most dangerous pass rushing threat on UK's team.

I agree by all means.

I see he's a smaller type player, maybe molded into the Jameon Lewis role? Admittedly, I haven't seen any field on him.

How long is it going to take people to understand how this depth thing works with us?

Yeah, Mullen seems to like to mix the small shifty players in with the large receivers. Our receivers definitely are not an area of concern for 2015. They will be one of our strongest groups.

UT will have a great defense and very good skill guys on offense.
OL will be better by default, but how much better?

QB play is the big question mark. My money is on Dobbs starting or true freshman Juaun Jennings.

We should be an 8 win team with average QB play.

UGA will be young with talent. As another poster said, that could mean transition. Guessing about 9 wins maybe 10.

*Player's class is as of next year

QB - Brice Ramsey (RS-Soph)
RB - Nick Chubb (Soph) / Sony Michel (Soph) / Keith Marshall (Sr.)
FB - Quavon Hicks (Sr.) or Brendan Douglas (Jr.)
WR - Justin Scott-Wesley (Sr.) / Malcolm Mitchell (RS-Sr.) / Reggie Davis (Jr.) / Isaiah McKenzie (Soph.)
TE - Jeb Blazevich (Soph) / Jay Rome (Sr.)
OT - Jon Theus (Sr.) and ??
OG - Kublanow (Jr.) and Pyke (Jr.)
C - Hunter Long (Sr.)

Defense:

DT: James DeLoach (Sr.)
NT: John Atkins (RS-Soph.)
DE: Sterling Bailey (Sr.) or Josh Dawson (Sr.)
SAM: Leonard Floyd (Jr.) and Lorenzo Carter (Soph.)
JACK: Jordan Jenkins (Sr.) or David Bellamy (RS-Soph.)
MIKE: Tim Kimbrough (Jr.)
WILL: ??
CB: Shattle Fenteng (Sr.) or Devin Bowman (Sr.)
CB: Malcolm Parrish (Soph.)
SS: Quincey Mauger (Jr.)
STAR: Dominick Sanders (Soph) or JJ Green (Jr.)
FS: Aaron Davis (RS-Soph.)

Special Teams:
Punter: Colin Barber (Sr.)
PK: Marshall Morgan (Sr.)

This is assuming none of the draft eligible Junior's leave early, most notably Jordan Jenkins and Malcolm Mitchell. I can't see Mitchell not wanting a full year before he tests the NFL Draft. I've been wrong before. Really excited about Brice Ramsey. He will be in year 3 of the system as a RS-Soph and as most UGA fans know has a rocket of an arm and can run a little bit. Go Dawgs!
