He also said go after the guy you want and don't let him say no. He wants a coach that has won a national championship and has been there before. That's only like 4 and LSU can't get any of them. Saban? No. Fisher? No. Meyer? No. Chizik? Yea, I guess.
LSU has a big pocket book? Good and so does Bama, FSU, Ohio State. They will match whatever LSU offers. Last year, Fisher was coming to LSU but big govt said no. So, what makes you think that they won't say no again?

Imo its Jimbo all the way. If they were so close last yr i dont see any reason why they wont revisit and get it done now.
