I edited my original post for all the gaping vaginas who are looking for a reason to be offended.

2010 Final AP Poll- SEC West was stacked

10 Bama

Just looked at the final 2012 poll and it was:

1 - Alabama
5 - Georgia
5 - Texas A&M
8 - South Carolina
9 - Florida
14 - LSU

I had forgotten how brutal the late 2000s/early 2010’s were. I think 2010 AND 2012 were rougher than 2008. Looking at the standings, 2007 and 2013 probably were too. I have about come to the conclusion the answer to what year between 2007 and 2013 was toughest is “all of them”. I just stumbled upon this, which makes it easier to look at them without clicking all over.

LIst of SEC Final Standings 1992-present

The list of down years is definitely a lot shorter than the list of up years.

Five SEC teams finished in the top 10 I believe.

We may never see that again.

2012 was the best year that I can remember.

I remember a 3 week stretch for SC during that year:

#6 SC vs #5 Georgia
#3 SC @ #9 LSU
#9 SC @ #3 Florida

2012 might be it.

7 teams in the final AP poll. Alabama and Georgia were #2 and #3 (should’ve been 1 & 2) going into the SECCG. Both had to play multiple top-15 teams within their own divisons.

fricking VANDERBILT finished the season with 9 wins and ranked #23

When we had less than 200 yards of offense but still scored 44 points.

2012 had 6 legit top 15 teams. Bama, A&M, LSU, USC, UF, UGA all would have wiped the floor with Notre dame

I like to think if Honey Badger was still on the 2012 LSU team he strips the ball from Yeldon as he tries to gallop his way to the end zone. F that game was brutal!
