I am going with 2008. The list of head coaches that year was insane.

Saban, Spurrier, Richt, Fulmer, Miles, Urban, Petrino, Nutt and Tuberville. What a brutal time to be Sylvester Croom or Bobby Johnson.

In the last 40 years, has the SEC ever had a better roster of coaches? Has any conference?

2011 went into Thanksgiving:
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas

That was pretty good.

Weak troll, but I ‘m going with 2001. The list of head coaches that year was insane.

Saban, Spurrier, Richt, Fulmer, Holtz, Cutliffe, Nutt and Tuberville. What a brutal time to be Dennis Franchione or Woody Widenhoffer.

2012 was really good. 6 teams all finished with double digit regular season wins.

2010-2012 was insanely dominant period for the SEC

Has to be this. Five of Top 15 teams in the country all from one division.

Why would you say this?

And that is the problem here. We can’t even have an actual debate or discussion. And things were going so well in this thread.

2010 was insane.

Obviously you had cam at auburn then very good Alabama/LSU teams.

State and Arkansas were really strong teams that year too.

We went 9-4 that year with a 3 point loss to auburn, a 2OT loss vs Arkansas, lost to LSU/Bama on the road and then absolutely shite stomped a denard Robinson led Michigan team in the gator bowl 52-14.

That was a year where the SEC was playing a different game than everyone else and it showed in the bowl game

You were responding seriously.

OP was just being a trolly little bitch about Les Miles, who coached in 2 and won 1 BCSNC, and LSU. That would put him here in OPS list:

Saban, Urban, Miles, Spurrier, Fulmer, Richt, Petrino, Nutt and Tuberville.

Except that he won the West the following year. He obviously cratered at A&M but he had us rolling along pretty good for the couple of years he was here.

In 2012 I think Bama, LSU, UGA, Florida, South Carolina, and A&M all could have won the natty

The SEC west in 2010 was probably the toughest division football will ever see. But the east had fallen off a bit. Not a single east team had double digit wins that year. South Carolina won the division at 5-3. They finished 9-5 overall. In the west, five teams finished with 9 or more wins. The west had five teams finish in the top 15, including #1 Auburn. The only east team to finish in the top 25 was South Carolina at 22.

Because you left out the HC of the defending national champion.

Let me get this straight. LSU fans constantly tell us what a shitty coach Miles was now days. But then you turn around and get your panties in a bunch not because I say something negative about him. But because I don’t say anything at all about him.

I know you're retarded, but are you stupid too?

1 NC
2 SEC titles
3 SEC West titles.

All inside of a 7 year window.
