you know we've beat them more times than we've lost to them, right?

Oh wait, you probably didn't because you're under 25 years old.

I'd like to see us go to 9 games. The Pac 12 does it and so should we.

Keep the rule of having at least one P5 OOC game and 9 league games and we are set.

Arkansas is plying Texas Tech now, Michigan coming up and then TCU. It fits right in.

Then don't use that as an excuse for not wanting 9 games. Not saying you have but I've seen others do it for sure.

I would support any system that has us playing Georgia more.

LSU-Georgia games are fantastic.

If we did away with divisions and decided that each team plays 4 permanent opponents and 4 rotating opponents, you could play every team but one every other year. If you went to 9 conference games and had 5 rotating games you could play every team at least every other year.

Here is what the permanent opponents would look like:

Alabama – UT, AU, MSU, LSU
Auburn – UGA, Bama, MSU, UF
Ole Miss – MSU, LSU, Vandy, Arky
Mississippi State – OM, AU, Bama, aTm
Arkansas – aTm, Mizzou, LSU, OM
LSU - aTm, OM, Arky, Bama
Texas A&M – LSU, Arky, Mizzou, MSU
Missouri – Arky, UK, aTm, USCe
Florida – UGA, USCe, UT, AU
Georgia – AU, UF, USCe, Vandy
Vanderbilt – UT, UK, OM, UGA
South Carolina - UF, UGA, UK, Mizzou
Kentucky – Mizzou, Vandy, USCe, UT
Tennessee – Bama, Vandy, UF, UK

Some need to decide if the want to be in the SEC or if they want to play so called "in-state rivals"....or they need to quit whining.

we aren't pussies like atm, we actually like playing our long time in-state rivals that we've played since 1893. We aren't just going to up and quit.

Well you won't trade in a double directional rent a win for another SEC game, so that does sort of make y'all pussies.

Of course you don't. Tennessee hasn't done shite since 2007 and has been through the worst 10 years in program history. As long as they keep making brilliant hires like Derek Dooley and Butch Jones, Alabama can pencil in a "W" next to Tennessee before the season even starts.

It's cyclical you fricking buffoon. It wasn't long ago that Tennessee took 10 of 11 in the series.

Also, I haven't heard Tennessee fans bitching about having to play bama every year during our down period. Bunch of pussies

That's because even when Alabama is at their best, Tennessee will always want a shot at them. It's a standard that's been around for over a century and us sucking since 2008 cannot change that mentality. It wouldn't be the same if we didn't have the challenge of playing Alabama every year. A challenge we have always and will forever embrace. Tennessee playing Alabama is a way of life for our program.

Maybe Bama should move to the East shite Bama and Auburn should go east, Vandy and Mizzou to the west, let's shake things up a bit!

Same? You don't play texas. You may or may not. Nobody knows. Uga/gt, uf/fsu, clemson/sc, uk/ul WILL play every year. Nobody is "hoping" that those will happen again "at some point". They're etched in stone, they're being played. So no, it's not the same.

With a 9 game schedule there are 4 teams that would get the shaft by only having the freedom to schedule 2 games of their choice while everyone else gets 3. Again, it's not whining it's pointing out an actual, black and white fact.

That's pretty much how it is now, except substitute "9" for "8" and "3" for "4".

Your main reasoning seems to be the assumption that teams will refuse to schedule a Big 6 opponent if they only have 3 games to work with; however, there are schools that are either unwilling or unable to do that now with 4 open games. I'm not sure your argument really holds up.

So basically everyone else in the conference should be penalized because of who you four play OOC? Wtf should we care? That's you're problem who you play, not the other ten schools. If you don't like it, then change it. If you don't want to change it or aren't able to, that's your f'n problem.

Correct! This problem is so easy to fix, but the solution is adamantly opposed by a few.

No. It's whining. You're not entitled to any gimme games, much less three.

And yet A&M continues to schedule the gimme games while avoiding Texas.

Like WG said...schedule Texas then you can say someone else is whining.

Not a problem. All the other SEC teams would love to see A&M play Texas every year. The only team oppossing it is A&M....soooo...I would say playing Texas is opposed by the few. Fix it.

Well....LSU might have a shot at winning the West, then.
