There's no way Dabo would ever leave his nice house on the lake. The scenery is just too beautiful.

if Bama is so great, why did you go through like 4 coaches in 10 years prior to Saban? Your team wasn't doing anything. Saban made Alabama work, Alabama doesn't make every coach that goes there. It's about the coach, dummy.

that's right, unless all he care about is money and/or he wants to go back to Alabama.

why do you think it is crazy for somebody to like living on a beautiful clear water lake near the mountains?

I'm just joking. The lake thing just always cracks me up because it's always brought up as some huge selling point.

Dabo won a title at Bama, and he'd tell you are a homer hype machine. lol

So if Dabo wins a title this year at Clemson, he should go to Bama, because why? It would be a lateral move at best. The point of being a coach is to win titles.

You know, it may have a LITTLE bit to do with career advancement as well. Your whole "better scenery" argument is based on the idea that Alabama is a lateral career move from Clemson. Surely you know this isn't the case.

I was one minute too slow. If he wins the title this year, Alabama is on the same plane as Clemson at best. I think the discussion has officially jumped the shark.

Good night and good luck to Clemson in their title hopes

lol career advancement.

he would be going from one head coach job to another.

its only an advancement if you think coaching at Bama is a bfd. Dabo doesn't strike me as a hype person. lol

You love Clemson. That's all good and everything. You're just alone in thinking that Clemson and Bama are on the same level.

your premise is Bama is better because it is better. I don't think it is for numerous reasons, including my belief Clemson is better geographical location for recruiting and has more unique qualiies that helps recruit.

Alabama is better because of results throughout history. Titles, wins, bigger fanbase, name recognition etc

Lol anybody who follows sports at all has heard of Clemson. Clemson also has a lot more students from the northeast than Bama does

Your titles came in the BCS era and prior to BCS.

The playoffs is going to offset the SEC bias that empowered SEC teams in the past and titles were be harder to come by.

Again, you guys say SEC is so much harder than ACC. Wouldn't Dabo be smart to stay at Clemson, if he can make the playoffs regardless? I don't think he can recruit much better at Bama.

Saban won't allow Bama to offer Dabo anyway b/c Dabo took him to school when he was trying to get hurry up offenses banned.

lol at Dabo 'crawling over broken glass' to go live in a mill town in Bama.

Fact: Bama is Dabo's dream job. Perhaps not wise to call a place he loves that still is home to much of his family a "mill town" in such a derogatory and flippant manner.

I'm sure Clemson will be fine when he leaves. Maybe you can get Morris to come back as HC.

Yet why have so many coaches won National Championships at Alabama? We've had 5 coaches win National Championships. Why has Alabama been able to win so much compared to Clemson? Why have we had 5 coaches win rings, but Clemson only having a sinigle NC, 34 years ago. You've only won 1 ACC Championship in 20+ years.

Clemson just kinda sucks. You should actually thank us for allowing you to use one of our guys, until he's ready to win rings for Bama.

The 3 greatest coaches in Clemson history..... All played at Alabama...lol

Every ounce of success your little tigers have ever had was because an Alabama man lead the way.

If we decide we want Dabo, we'll come get him. Nevermind, he'll walk to Title-Town if Mama calls.
