Please. He's better than three or four losses a year at freakin' Clemson.

We'll see in a few years when he's hired as Saban's replacement

I have to give him credit. Even after losing Morris, they're still rolling along. I've been waiting for them to fail apart, but so far, he's looking like he might be legit.

And if we did hire him, at worst, he'd leave the next guy a cupboard full of talent, like Zook.

Alabama would be more exciting on offense if Dabo coached Alabama.

still don't see how Bama is better job than Clemson other than can pay more due to more alumni

homers gonna homer

Clemson doesn't play in the SEC West. If they did, they would have around 3-4 losses a year imo.

That said, it doesn't mean Dabo couldn't build a great team at bama...

They have won 40 games in the last 3.75 season. That is legit as it comes. But that us also while he has had Brent Venables running the defense. So who knows really.

you can't type any words because it isn't better. Clemson has won a national title before and won a lot of games in its history. Bama has had bad seasons. People fall for their hype. it is football.

who knows how good Sabaan would be without his DC, etc. that argument can be used against any head coach.

in last two years, Clemson has dominated two programs that Saban lost to, Oklahoma and Ohio State.

that's right, you are a suckup to Alabama.

you might could recruit some good players at Florida if you weren't always promoting Alabama. lol

This could be said for any other coach Alabama hires. The competition is easier everywhere else from top to bottom. But they're still going to have to hire someone, who better than a former Alabama player who is excelling at a job where luring recruits should be much harder than it is at Alabama? He's basically the perfect living candidate unless you want to embarrass yourself with Gruden/Carroll expectations.

I think Clemson is easier to recruit players than a mill town in a flat area southwest of B'ham.

Halfway b/t Charlotte and Atlanta, closer to the northeast and midatlantic states, etc. Near nice lakes and the mountains and a fantastic downtown area in Greenville SC.

I don't think most OOC of players at Bama grew up Bama fans or are big fans of living in tuscaloosa They went there b/c of Saban.

cracks me up when SEC people say Clemson is hard to recruit yet we have better players at QB, WR, etc.

No Dabo. He's like Richt- he can't win the big games. He'll never get the Bama job.
