The best WR group since Saban has been there but yet they haven't proved shite.

Norwood and Bell will be our two starting wide receivers and they have proven a lot actually. I'm pretty sure you remember Norwood catching passes all over your defense in New Orleans. And has been said before, wide receiver is one of those positions where experience isn't really the greatest asset. Route running is what counts and that comes down to coaching and talent.

How much football do you watch besides your teams, and how long have you been watching?

What do you see Bama doing this coming season in your opinion? Another NC? Seriously just asking

Alot. Like most posters on here I watch a rather large amount of college football. Ok did I pass that question Harvey?

Since I was 7. Played into college. Had the awesome opportunity to work with college and pro skill players for an extended period of time. And I disagree with your statement about "experience not mattering at the wr position.". You are wrong and nothing you say will change my mind.

Now, I am about to go eat a steak.

IF we manage to sneak a win in BR, another Natty.

If we lose to LSU, a Sugar Bowl Blowout victory.

I agree. Looks like an eleven win season to me. Possibly 12.

Don't take Missouri for granted and Western Kentucky might be another ULM 2007, remember that.

Except we're not going to lose to a team that isn't talented enough to get the job done. LSU is the only team in the country that can truly beat Alabama this year.

And Mizzou is coming from the Big XII, where Defense doesn't exist. We are going to make bitches out of them.

Western Kentucky gave us a good game last year. They are well coached and mean business and Mizzou is looking for a signature win. Don't think it can't happen. It's football.

Oh I know. I was agreeing that saying someone would go 10-3 isn't really an insult. It's not like you were saying Alabama was going to suck.

While sometimes down seasons happen for one reason or another... in general, people who are SATISFIED with 10-3 seasons are usually called "Georgia Fans" around here.

Well, you really only have history to look at, and Bama has fielded great teams 4 straight seasons. There's nothing to indicate this season will be any different.

Even that 2010 team that finished 10-3 was a great team. The ball bounces a little different in those 3 losses, and they could have easily won them. I don't think you have to finish undefeated or with one loss to be considered great. Did we lose a lot of experience on defense? Sure, but it isn't like the ones filling in have no experience. Most of them have seen thd field a significant amount over the past year or two.

Same with LSU. They e fielded great teams for 3 straight seasons, and there's nothing to indicate they won't be great again this season.

I don't wish to emulate a "Bleacher Report" (God forbid), but we (Alabama) have a few new coaches and players who still need to prove their stuff. The best thing I see here is an established, veteran line, and a solid set of good running backs in house. That along coupled with a leader in AJ who even after winning an MNC has still (by speculation) not peaked in his abilities just yet.

The big game after UM is LSU for sure on the calendar but anyone can slip if they start reading the papers on how good you are.

The bad news for LSU is you get a 'Bama team that is peaking in November as usual, and this year 'Bama will be playing loose as the Tigers will have all that pressure on your backs.

So we will see what is what, and who is who, soon enough.

AJ given the nod by Coach Saban to lead the team instead of 'manage' the O (see BCS CG). The OL will one of the best, if not the best in country. Good WR's and RB's. I suspect the D will be top 5 calibre. The only two obstacles I see is A)LSU and B)early slip up possibilities against Mizzou/Hogs if DB unit hasn't jelled yet and miss assignments.

Mizzou isn't going to beat Alabama, or even come close for that matter. This is the SEC. Not the ACC or the B1G where the top teams lose to bottom tier teams on a regular basis.

It'll be ranked either first or second nationally. Second only to LSU.

I believe Alabama has an answer for almost anything Mizzou will throw at Alabama this season, but only if apathy is not part of our training program.

I expect people will take notice of the 'new Mizzou when they burst out on the scene and thump UGA thoroughly at the beginning of the season.

It just seems outside of a few dysfunctional teams the SEC is improving as a whole here of late.

Ok. So i see alot of "last season" bullshite going on around here. Even little Nicky cant get over the first game between Bama and LSU.

So lets look to the future and quit living in the past. Tell us why Bama will be so good this season. Seems like alot of talent has left the building.

Ill.hang up and listen.

Oh look, a delusional butthurt tiger..that's new

Not sure if you've been under a rock since '08 but bama has yielded a top 5 recruiting class every year, there's plenty of talent left over..like as much or more than every other team in the country. They're going ot have to barricade the bridges in BR after the bama game
