The FBI’s sprawling investigation into widespread corruption throughout college basketball was centered on the relationship between Adidas and Adidas-sponsored teams at the AAU and college level. That doesn’t mean other apparel companies and the programs they sponsor should get too comfortable. The FBI is now summoning Nike employees to court as the next step in the investigation, according to a report

I agree. There are no club teams in high school football

It has the same feel as some of the sketchy rich pastors who we see in the news and shite.
Buncha dudes trying to make a buck in a super sleazy manner.

If the NCAA ruled a year of AAU play counted toward a year of College eligibility, it will die on the vine.

So they could go pro after one year of AAU?

End it with all. This even includes the football camps.

Not if the NBA stands their ground. The majority of AAU players are not going to be in the NBA, so they will drop AAU ball in order to keep 4 year College eligibility. The AAU teams would have a hard time fielding teams. Problem solved.

Burn that mother fricker to the ground then bury the ashes. Ditto the Nike football camps and shite that were on the fast track to being AAU redux. You can’t give these guys a hamburger on campus without it being an improper benefit yet while they are recruits Nike can give them hundreds of dollars worth of swag to attend their camps? WTF? Double standard anyone? And don’t say it wasn’t to influence their choices, it’s obvious from basketball that such isn’t the case.

They just need to make it the same as College Baseball as far as going pro. Would solve a lot of issues
