Obamanu was a WR, and

That play was one of the worst drops I've seen, which is weird because Obamanu usually had reliable hands. And he was actually a very talented WR. 5* recruit out of HS, #2 in Auburn history for TD catches, and played 8 seasons in the NFL.

side note, Ben Obamanu is currently in Law School at Alabama

SC vs UGA 2011- that game was the wackiest game I've ever seen. How in the world we won a shootout with two defensive TDs, and a fake punt run by a 280lb DE with Garcia playing like crap I'll never know.

SC vs Auburn 2010 regular season - that game was where Cam Newton became the monster we all had to deal with. He threw for like 155 and ran for almost 200. We almost won that one, but a bunch of 4th Q turnovers killed that chance.

one that nobody talks about, ever, is one of my favorite old games. 1995 SC vs miss st. Taneyhill threw for 473 yards on 41-49 passing and a bunch of TDs, and caught one. We won it 65-39. Our D that year was miserable (one of the top offenses in the country, but gave up almost 40ppg in 1995) to cause us to go 4-6-1.

2004 LSU-Auburn

I feel like LSU-Auburn in the 2000s would dominate this thread.

2004: 10-9
Defensive struggle. Auburn scores to tie 9-9 with 1:30 to go. Misses the PAT. Get a retry due to a penalty. Makes it to give us the win 10-9.

2005: 20-17
John Vaughn misses 5 FGs including the game winning FG in the 4th and the game tying one in OT.

2006: 7-3
Overturned Pass Interference call is probably what most people remember. LSU was just a few yards from winning the game.

2007: 30-24
LSU down by one late in the game. In FG range to win the game. Les decides to throw pretty much a Hail Mary instead. LSU WR catches it in the endzone despite being well defended with 0:01 on the clock.

2008: 26-21
LSU scores go ahead TD with 1:08 to go

God those games were fun. Went to every single one I listed

Here are a few Alabama games from the 90s I believe are worthy of a re-watch:

1991 Alabama vs. Georgia
1992 Alabama vs. Mississippi State
1993 Alabama vs. Tennessee
1994 Alabama vs. Georgia
1994 Alabama vs. Mississippi State
1996 Alabama vs. Tennessee

2007 Bama vs. UGA
Alabama comes back from a 2 score deficit in the 4th to tie the game with a minute left. Georgia misses the game winning field goal. Bama gets 3 points and on Georgia's first OT play Matt Stafford throws a walk off bomb

2007 Bama vs Arkansas
Arkansas storms back from being down 21 in the 3rd quarter and takes the lead midway through the 4th. John Parker Wilson takes Bama down the field and throws a game winning fade to Matt Cadell with 8 seconds left

01 VOLS/UF was my nomination as well.

Probably 2 of the 3 best teams in the country playing in the last week of the regular season and the game more than delivered.

One of them that comes to mind for me was 2015 Auburn vs ARKANSAS. 2OT game. We must have dropped 10 passes that day. Ricardo Louis had hands of stone that day. It was a great game even though we lost.

Was there in person that day. I've never been to a loss before. I remember posting on here that au was dropping everything. People on here claiming it was just good coverage. I knew better and at the end the of the game i was screaming for us to stop you guys but had no faith in our defense, or Brandon to win in the clutch. I had seen us lose too many times In the 1st ot. After the first or 2nd one after Brandon kept making plays I knew we would win and something had changed In him. In the end though, I got to see Brandon grow before my eyes before he became one of the best QBs in ar history and we finally had a good coverage play to win the game.

2007 SC @ Tenn. We were down big and came back only to lose in OT. Kenny McKinley had 14 catches or so.

2001 SC v Bama. Tyler Watts killed us all day, but we came back late with a TD pass to our 3rd string TE to win 37-36.

The 2009 game was wild too. That game had just about everything. A kick return TD, a defensive back scoring on a reverse play, a pick six, a ridiculous catch by AJ Green, a great performance by Stephen Garcia, a blocked extra point, etc...

I was just glad Garcia didn't look to the left flat on South Carolina's last play because their RB would have walked in with the winning TD.

2010 Arkansas vs. MSU. 2 OT game that included a 0-0 first OT when Vick Ballard dove for the end zone and took a hit causing the ball to go out of bounds over the goal line for the touchback. Arkansas missed the potential game winning FG afterwards but pulled it out in the 2nd OT.

I was at that game. As soon as the ball was released from the QB's hand I stood up and yelled "yeah! wide open!" Pfffffft....

1994 AU v UF

A back and forth game with lots of offense. AU, despite being 17 point underdogs, pulled off a miracle win with a great Frank Sanders catch for a TD with 30 seconds left in the game.

2012 Georgia-Florida

Sloppy game with a lot of turnovers, but two unquestionably great defenses slugging it out and the tension from the opening snap was as thick as I've ever felt it for a Georgia game.
