Hirring Fran which led to 77-0.
Amen.
Alabama owes us big time for taking that POS off their hands.

Not really man
La Tech x2
Hawaii
Northern Illinois
Southern Miss
Utah (still MWC)
The last 4 on that list plus ULM were all from 2000-2008
In between HOF coaches those types of losses are fairly common for Bama.

If I can recall correctly Foley gave his infamous commitment to Muschamp before the Vanderbilt and GSU losses had occurred. We were either 4-4 or 4-5 at that point and seemed to be on the road for either 5-7 or 6-6. Nobody was really considering the possibility of 4-8.
I assume Muschamp was only retained after 2013 because Foley didn't want to take back his show of support. If he had kept his mouth shut until the GSU loss I assume Muschamp wouldn't have gotten 2014.

What do you have a question about, Shipmate?

The Louisiana Monroe loss occurred under Saban. As did the Utah loss.
That was under a hall of fame coach not between hall of fame coaches.

The University of Maine black bears

Without question 9-6. Bama was at least 21 points better than that team.

I was just commenting on BowlJackson's post. He was the one calling Utah an awful loss not me.

Rattay and La Tech killed us under Dubose. Hawaii was embarrasing. The most heart breaking loss I can remember was Notre Dame in 73.
But the biggest arse whipping was Nebraska in the Orange Bowl in 71 I think. Johnny Rodgers is still running...and very fast

What did Bama fans think of Saban after the La Monroe loss? Did you still believe in him at that point? Be honest.

frick yeah. We just went through Dubose, Fran, and Shula's jumbo package.

2010 to a BAD Colorado team was pretty bad.

21-0
But you had that feeling that something wasn't right during pregame.

Didn't bother me that much.
It needed to happen.
Things started turning around that day.
