Mizzou - Colorado in 1996. Colorado was pretty good, and Mizzou was awful (per the norm back in the day).

LINK to Game Story

Koy Detmer threw for a school record 450 yards and a guy named Rae Carruth (who knew I got to see a murderer at my first football game) set a record with 222 receiving yards.

Ole Miss vs LSU in TS, 1958. Tigers shut out the Rebs and a young fella name of Cannon played pretty well. One month later the Tigers were crowned National Champs. Later defeated Clemson in the Sugar Bowl. I was young but remember the great, statewide pride in our Tigers and their huge accomplishment.

Arkansas - Baylor, back in the 80's. I was pretty young so I don't know what year, but we won 6-0 or some shite like that.

I'd honestly have to ask my parents. We went to a lot of games and then they got season tix and it all became a blur. My strongest memories though (I guess when I was totally engaged and old enough to really get into things more) were Bama and Florida games in the 90s. I remember the rain game against Florida we won aka "It's a Downpour!" Half the kids I went to school with came down with colds because of all the rain that game but no one cared as it was totally worth it for a crazy game like that.

Alabama at LSU 2012. Looked like it was gonna be a magical first game and a revenge game for 1/9. It was certainly magical.. Just not for the Tigers :(

1960, at age 9, LSU versus Baylor in Tiger Stadium, LSU's first home game that year. First LSU MBB in 1965 and first LSU baseball game in 1970 my freshman year at LSU.

I believe that was 1971. 48-7 Tigers.
Norman Hodgins returned a punt for a TD and I think it was second longest in LSU history.

We tied Florida 3-3 in the rain in Gainesville in 1972, both teams combined to miss like 8 or 9 FGs. Juan Roca for LSU missed at least 5.

Yale - UGA 1929. First game at Sanford.

I can remember spitting on the 11 Yale fans that showed up after we whipped their Yankee asses.
