Oklahoma was never the Big 12. They are a Big 8 team. You had 2 different cultures in the Big 12. The SWC was the Big 12 South and the Big 8 was the Big 12 North.
Oklahoma fans are a little less nice than A&M fans but better than LSU fans. They care about their football more than MIZZOU, because they have nothing else except during bowl games.This is because, in the past, many of the students had to live with lower alcohol content beer. They just can't fricking handle themselves when they get some regular beer. They will be falling all over themselves, but they won't be nasty. They may say some stupid crap if they get a lead on you.
The women are decent and they will love to party, but don't give them too much booze. Make them cycle a water or 2 in between or you will have to carry them out of the tailgate.

I agree with all of this though all bets are off if you're wearing burnt orange. I've had grandmothers cuss like sailors at me.

They are one of the top 30 winningest basketball programs of all times.
In my lifetime, they have 1 title game appearance, 3 final fours, 6 elite eights, 10 sweet sixteen, and 27 tournament appearances.
They grossly outclass us in basketball and let's not forget that they pushed our shite in during last year's tournament.

It actually sucked. Texas fans don't care about football, just there online T-shirt fans that talk trash. They tailgate for a bit and then go to 6th street. Oklahoma fans care, but Norman absolutely sucks. Texas Tech has some hot arse women, but it takes a good week to get the smell of Lubbock out of your clothes.
So in general...it sucked. All the stadiums sucked accept for Sips, NEB, CU, and OU. All the communities sucked outside of Austin and Boulder. (TCU wasn't part of the Big 12 when I was at A&M). Nobody wanted to travel outside TX to see any games. TX teams traveled well and tailgated well, but only when playing inside of the state. You get almost the same turnout playing Rice or SMU as you get for most of the Big 12. The OU vs. TX game is only big because it happens during the state fair in Dallas.

Right. And I don't brag about them (except maybe golf which is pretty cool and to a much smaller extent swimming).
Bottom line: it's football and then basketball/baseball and then everything else.
A&M hasn't done anything since before we entered WWII.
