Posted by LBC I think I'd trade Cam Lawrence for a WR or good lineman. Cam Lawrence for Hunter/Patterson would rock, but I'm not sure if he'd help their defense enough to justify it.

I would speculate most LSU fans wouldn't see a need to give up anything for a QB at this juncture.
You may have gotten an offer in August of 2011.

If it was a one year trade scenario and you weren't worried about Yeldon having 3 years left, then it is a decent trade. I'd say the big problem is RB depth for Bama with Fowler going out for the year. Lacy is usually playing injured so it would be pretty tough to let a RB go when you're one injury away from a big problem. Bama doesn't really have a WR problem so I don't think it would make sense but I can see why people think it would be a good deal. I wouldn't do it myself.

I think Auburn would be a dark horse for the NC with Wilson. BVG would make the defense functional with an Offense that could sustain drives
