With Fertita backing UH they can pay him $4 - $4.5M... maybe more. Fertita is loaded and just donated $20M to UH towards a new basketball facility.

I know Jimbo has been talked about with LSU but that just doesn't seem like a match. His personality with the LSU culture and fan base seems like oil and water. Lets hope LSU gets someone who is not such a dud...

What is the time line for the Big 12 to make a decision on expansion or is it all still up in the air? If the timeline goes past the end of the regular season, Herman may not want to roll the dice. No way anything official happens mid season with any prospective HC. Agents, however, will be coming out of the wood works from everywhere.
