I believe it. 1200s are no guarantee for UGA, Tech, or Emory.
I think Tech's median/mean was 1390 this past year.

Don't have a link to my friends transcripts, but the average SAT in 2010 was 1263 according to wiki.

No, it is true. It has more to do with the hope scholarship though and every single person in Georgia qualifying for it than it does being a prestigious school.

Yeah, I had a 1300 SAT and a 3.8 GPA and got rejected from UGA my first time around. I had to transfer in after a year. Flagship universities are getting harder and harder to get into.

They came out of the woodwork when Dawg Rant was redirected to the new Georgia Sports Board here on the SEC Rant. Like most of the fans here, it's just some good nature smack talk.

I can believe it. I know last year after the South Carolina game Silver Dollar was requiring UGA student id's as well as regular id's to get in. I thought that was pretty funny.

You seem like the kind of person that if I met IRL, I would have to consciously dumb down everything I said until it gave me a headache. We're just on different wavelengths. It's ok. It's not a reflection on UGA or whatever. Bama and everyone else has mouth-breathers like you, too. Keep repeating the nickname. I'll wear it as a badge of honor.
