They are both elite running backs. Biggest difference this year is that Fournette racked up big numbers again scrubs and cupcakes and Henry did it in big games.

Blame the O-line, the offense scheme, or whatever else you want...but big games in primetime is what matters.

I will agree with the endurance statement. It takes a lot of endurance for Henry to tote that Heisman around every day...

Henry shows up in big games and takes control of it.

LF doesn't show up in big games to help his team.

Henry benefited from a competent passing attack that could come through if needed. Fournette was essentially the entire LSU offense. If Coker was as challenged as Harris was this season, Henry's stats would have been much different although still impressive , but without a decent passing threat, Christian McCaffrey would have the Heisman.

Henry has proven he can do that.

Yes and no. He can catch as the safety valve, but in terms of vertical speed Fournette blows Henry away. Put it like this , if you are a DB and you had to cover one of them long, who would you rather cover Henry or Fournette? Fournette could line up at wide out if he had to and be a major factor with a competent passing attack. Henry is not that kind of athlete.

It all comes down to the Bama game. That's the only game the people remembered with the bad performance from Fournette and LSU as a whole and Henry's good one. Every other game other than Arkansas, where LF actually had more yards than Henry at 112, he rushed for 150 plus. Not to mention LSU lost those games pretty badly. It all comes down to the biggest game on the biggest stage.

Fournette racked up big numbers against everyone but Alabama and Arkabsas (still had 90+ against Arkansas). So I guess LSU didn't play any good teams this year outside those two

He didn't take over games down the stretch like Henry did. Henry took over every game in order for Bama to win.

HENRY plays in playoff games while the LSU fella plays in low tier bowls. That's the difference

This is true, but Henry has some stuff going for him too. Hell, he won the heisman!

Both players are great.

You people are fricked in the head.
Pissing matches to see who's prick is bigger is so annoying on this board.

Fournette ran wild on the same teams Henry did down the stretch

Henry had a better end to the season, Fournette's line collapsed, LF is still much better though
