Mike the Tiger is the coolest live mascot in all of sports. How do you top a live tiger?

Lots of cool mascots in the SEC.

Inherently Mike is the coolest b/c he is a freaking tiger. That is just bad@ss!

Auburn's current Eagle (Nova) has the coolest tradition. Seeing the eagle fly before games is amazing!

After those two, I think Uga is next b/c he is a damn good dawg. Too bad they have a life expectancy of like 17 days.

Tusk is an unusual choice, I'll give him the #4 spot.

Finally, Reveille gets fifth b/c of all the crazy rules they have related to her.

All of the others are cool, but not as good as the top five. SC has Sir Big Spur, Miss State has Bully, UK has a live wildcat, but they don't ever take it anywhere. Did I miss any? Edit: oh yeah, and Smokey. Forgot about him.

Ha ha, I Ham That I Ham.
In our case, Reveille would be named, "stray mutt brought back to TAMC campus when a car full of Texas Aggies returning from a football game hit her."

The first Rev, I Ham.
The current ones are genetically bred--literally. Being hit by a car is not a concern.

Two live lions?

Leo III and Una (North Alabama)

Trust me, I was surprised as you to learn that a Division II football program has two actual lions as mascots. But it’s true. And how can you beat two lions?

Anyway, Leo III and Una live right there on campus, next to the president’s residence, in the George H. Carroll Lion Habitat—a 12,000 square foot climate controlled facility that cost $1.3 million to build and $35,000 annually to maintain.

I tried to stop in to see mike while I was in BR last week. The f'n campus is so blocked off like Checkpoint Charlie that I had no clue where to park and it was raining so I wasn't going to trek too far.

That's a shame.

He's pretty cool to watch, and they never bring him out on game day.

Looks like you got near the construction for the South End Zone expansion. Mike's cage is at the north end of Tiger Stadium, next to the football operaions center:

I know y'all guard that dog with secret service now.

We should take care of ours a little more. I believe a couple years ago after we played in the Liberty bowl Tusk essentially froze to death in the trailer on I-40. It was a really cold night.

I like the TAMU dog after seeing her. Smokey is the second best dog.

Mike is the best though and it isnt close.
