The thread title says 'never' delivers. Over the last 25 years UF has 3 national titles and 8 conference championships. That is far from 'never' delivering.
I know what your numbers say but that is largely because UF has been rated more than anyone else in the conference. How many years has UF started the year unranked? I wouldn't expect anything different.
