Well I will agree with you on one aspect if anyone says they know what the final punishment is they are did wrong. When I said what I think it will be is total speculation. There is still a process to go through and any numbers out there are just people guessing.

Odd that he would be worried about the NCAA getting their hands on the transcript. The NCAA doesn't have subpoena power, but they can ask the coach to answer any questions they have and if he refuses, the school and the coach can be on the hook for failing to cooperate with the investigation. Is he refusing to cooperate with the NCAA in the investigation? If so, that's gotta be bad news for Ole Miss. If he is cooperating, then why would he be worried about letting them see his deposition transcript?

Maybe Hugh's lawyer is trying to get this deposition thrown out because Hugh wasn't there during the incident and he doesn't feel like wasting time because he didn't witness anything relevant to the incident.

Get out of here with this reasonable explanation bullshite. This is TRant. Only flaming, wild accusations, and exaggerated claims are welcome here.

If you really believe that is the case, why in the hell would he say he didn't want the NCAA to have access to the court docs?

Because he wants to have as
much control over the situation as he can. How he would answer questions in a legal suite is different then to the NCAA. Not that one is a lie but the legal suit doesn't care about details that are important to the NCAA so they can be taken out of context leading to the process being drawn out.

So he would tell one story to the judge, and a different story to the NCAA? How is that not lying?

No it's simple. He doesn't want ncaa to have knowledge of his answers. That's the absolute only reason. He doesn't want them to know what says. He's scaredvto lie because it would be made public. Then the hacker will send out more shite that proved he's lying. This is his only hope.

No its not that the story would be different at all because that would be lying and I never said they would be different stories just the people asking the questions care about different details so the questions would not be asking for the same details leading to the answer being addressed differently. The last thing they want is to be asked very broad questions that Freeze could answer to satisfy Millers attorney but would leave questions for the NCAA leading to the process being extend. But if those questions were asked by the NCAA the athletic department could provide details and documents that Freeze is not involved in to satisfy the NCAA.

Everyone wants to control the message that is nothing new Kriby worked to change the Freedom of Information laws to do so. Every team works to control their message. This is not some crazy new idea that means nearly as much as everyone wants it to. All the NCAA stuff is going to start coming out and we will see where we stand.

Do you idiots not realize that the lawyer who is trying to depose Freeze is a Starkville based lawyer who graduated from Mississippi State in 1998? Do you really have to ask the question as to why Freeze is trying to keep everything related to the Tunsil stepdad case and keep the NCAA stuff out of it? The attorney is on a fishing expedition and is a complete headhunter for State just looking for anything to impress his mongoloid brethren in Oktibbeha County. But I digress, facts are not welcome here as usual.

I am not a reliable source, but word around the alumni association is that our punishment is 16 schollies over 4 years, no postseason ban thankfully.

That would be for the current NOA. Apparently, the NCAA is now looking into other matters as well. I would assume if they find anything, the next charge will be LOIC. That is when things get nasty.

Honestly though, while every Ole Miss fan will say Mississippi State fans and boosters are paying the bill for this legal service, or it’s being done at a discounted rate, I think this guy is probably doing it for the right reasons. Based on his blog he seems like a respectable guy with similar values to those in Mississippi and not some lawyer after every penny he can get….or loathes Ole Miss so much he wants to get on the front lines of mud slinging.

Yeah, your "facts" are really supported in that article
