I love how all the Aubbie fans are ripping Grimes. Butthurt much?
I'm fairly certain we upgraded with our current Grimes as OL coach. I think Greg Robinson would agree with me.

Grimes is a good guy but average OL coach. Great recruiter though and hope he does well at LSU due to quality of person
I agree. I'm not sure Gus' scheme was the best for him as a coach. He is an outstanding recruiter. Our OL played much better this season, IMO.

Just because Cameron was a bust doesn't mean that Kiffin will be.

OC Roper for UF.
If he can't make an instant impact, UF will have a new HC next yr.

Don't forget Dooley's last DC.........how did that go after he left for a school like...............FSU?

Yeah but Grimes doesn't teach technique.
Both our players and the Virginia Tech players felt different. Grimes has already made a big difference here, and he's been 1000x better on the recruiting trail. LSU signed 2 JC's to add depth at OL and TE.
I expect both to contribute this year.

Roper and/or the new HC next year.

Dooleys DC left to become a LINEBACKER coach at FSU. But yeah, great comparison, keep going

Kirby Smart, he's not new to Bama, but he's back coaching the DBs for the first time in a while. That will have a big impact I think.

Did you happen to see Clint Moseley running for his life for 60 minutes against y'all in 2011? Or Frazier doing the same in 2012?
Did it ever come to your mind that we were just that much better than y'all in 11' and 12'?

Not even sure that that means.

I love selective memory.
Yeah this had nothing to do whatever with how good each team was...or wasn't.

I just sit back and laugh at the comments from Auburn fans about Grimes. Since you know nothing about LSU football let me just Clue you in a little bit. Jeff Grimes title might be OL coach but he was hired for his recruiting capabilities more than coaching. Les Miles coaches the offensive line because that is what he knows better than anybody.
If you have ever seen his practices you will see him stop practice and show the OLine technique he wants them to use.
As far as a new coach, Eric Musselman for MenBB and it isn't close

So is Les Miles responsible for the o line quitting amd overall bad play that a lsu poster mentioned before?

Yeah jackass,
He went to a better scenario that resulted in a NC. Tells you how much Dooley knows how to develop his coaches. Same thing with Graham, same thing with Joseph.

What a difference when Lance Thompson came back to Bama after spending time in Orange.

So a coach left a shite team two years ago and went on to coach with less responsibilities at a stable, NC caliber team and won a title.
And that has what to do with the 2014 season?

So one post becomes the source? Like I said Stud sucked at recruiting. Our oline did a good job last year, had a 3000 yd passer, 2 1000 yd recievers, and a 1000 yd rusher. Can't really complain

That wasn't totally Grimes' fault, because maybe his coaching doesn't mesh with Malzhan's scheme, maybe the talent and experience in this years was down, maybe different OC/coaches & schemes hurt the oline, maybe the entire team just gave up on the whole staff in 12??????????

Kiffin. Our bubble screen offense will be unstoppable.
