Saban credited the movie the team saw the night before the game. I think I remember Alabama watched "A Few Good Men" in 92 the night before they beat Miami in New Orleans, so

what movie to you think Les took LSU to watch the night before the championship game?

Contraband. People started predicting our loss from that point.

'Bama watched Red Tails. George Lucas released a thank you to Nick Saban after the game.

In 09, 'Bama watched Gladiator.

Nice. I want to see that movie. I can see why that would be a good movie for the football team.

"Everyone associated with the film was so honored that Coach Saban elected to have his entire team screen the film on the eve of their championship game," George Lucas said in the statement.
