Really because of my dad, but my parents, siblings, and my uncle all graduated from Bama. Grew up going to games (not just football) and loved it ever since.

I've always, rather oddly, I suppose, admired swastikas.

Especially brown ones.

We are born LSU Tigers in Louisiana. Wether you are an alumni or just a fan. It's all the same. We bleed purple and gold.

Dad was alumni. Really got into it in 2002. Then I went there. I was probably the most passionate in high school though to be honest(as in losses would ruin my week)

Both my parents went to LSU. Grew up in Baton Rouge. Started going to games before I could walk. Then went to College at LSU.

Florida- Birth. My father spent his high school years in Gainesville, so he was a Gator fan...I was raised as a fan.

LSU- Location. I got stationed at Fort Polk in 2002, and have lived in Louisiana ever since. I have attended as many LSU home games as I did games in the Swamp and have found the fan bases to be eerily similar.

Was getting Bama football shite for Christmas and birthdays starting when I was four or five years old...in the Bear years. They have always comported themselves with class and integrity, unlike the Aubs, the creamsicle hicks, and the swamp rats.

I attended Louisiana Lafayette and went to my first LSU game supporting the Cajuns. I immediately realized that LSU was way more fun and just a whole different level. So I spent every (home game) Saturday in BR that year..
That year happened to be 2003.
I was hooked at that point and never turned back.

My parents were both Baylor grads. I attended a few BU football games and noticed all the males were wearing ties. TIES at a football game! That ain't for me! So I went to A&M mostly for that all-important reason, joined the Corps, and of course wore a damn tie or, worse, an abominable ascot at every stinkin' game.

ETA: Thank you for the downvote, LSU fan! You guys make it easy to dislike you, for sure. Well done.

I grew up outside of Athens, and have been hanging out in Athens since it's Seattle east days. Cory Phillips sat behind me in geometry class in high school, so I got to know him pretty well and how bad he was at math. I also took drafting with Ben Leard (quarterback for Auburn) in high school. So it was pretty special when those two got to play against each other in tdsor in 2000. Another great game is when Cory broke those records against that fat arse Jared Lorenzon when we played Kentucky.

I have always pulled for Arkansas in the west, it was that crazy qb who ran around a lot back in the early 2000s that got me on the hogs. -Matt Jones

Native Missourian, family traces it's roots in MO to about the 1820's & 30's, plus my Dad's an alum. Just never cared about any other school.

Well, when you grow up in SC you either grow up pulling for the Gamecocks or Clemson. Even at 4 I was able to tell Clemson fans were assholes, so the choice was obvious. That and my mom graduated from USC and I was going to games with my parents from a very early age.

Attended my first game in 1973. Mizzou beat Nebraska 13-12. It was a done-deal.

My dad attended one year before the Navy and WWII got him.

FYI - born in Memphis. Considered arky, Memphis State and Ole Miss.
