Why did the MSU players never try to run out of bounds? They ran toward the center of the field after every completion.

Of all the strange things that was the strangest to me. Robinson especially seemed to go out of his way to cut back towards the middle of the field, even when it wasn't like there was much room to run there.

he was playing more for the close loss than risking Bama winning by an even larger margin. May actually pay off for him in the long run if they can beat OM and avoid the SECCG as a 1 loss at-large team.

If that's what he did then it was pretty dang smart of him to do that. It would have taken a couple miracles to score 2 Tds, get an onsides kick, etc. on Bama within like a minute.

Nope. Two pissed off teams met to prove doubters wrong. One did, one would.

State got the ball to the 13 yd-line with 1:08 and 2 TOs. They scored with :15 and 0 TOs. Two running plays in there.
