What kind of coach would you rather have going forward, Aubies?

Looks like it's turning out to be that Gus Malzahn is the Larry Coker of the SEC. I would say part of it is his offense and inability to recruit well outside of the defensive line.
Do you want a coach that prefers a defensive football team, or do you want another gimmick bullshite coach that will get you one good year and then a whole bunch of mediocre ones?

Once they get a good QB, they'll be fine again, I feel.

Everyone aside the experts new Aubie would struggle this year. New Defensive system with the same type of players (It'll take a year or two to get Muschamps system and players in)
Their offense lost their Number 1 WR, RB, QB, and a few lineman.
They're a worse version of LSU 2014.

Long term they should be fine. JJ most certainly did not pan out like they hoped for and the defense is taking longer to sort out then they thought. Well that happens from time to time. You can easily fill a top ten list with solid programs who rolled the dice on players that didn't turn out.

If AU ever finds a way to control the LOS, that offense will get back to Gus Bus style and the QB's will look better. That offense requires near perfect execution from all 11 players to work.
