gump up the thread though

Marlon Humphrey met him head on and knocked him for a loss. A CB. Your grapes are as sour as the guy my initial response was to.

Other than the title against Oregon in 2010, I'm not sure how you could not put this at the top if you are an AU fan. That stunk (and stung) so bad. Put a stop to the possibly three-peat, kept Bama from winning 4 SEC titles in a row, and went down as one of those iconic plays in all of CFB history.

I saw an article shortly thereafter that talked about only 4 times in CFB had a missed FG been returned for a TD and never on final play of game to win game. Said in something like 70,000 games it had only happened once. That's amazing.

I can't remember which Auburn coach, but when the timeout was called to freeze the kicker, said coach mentioned that Chris Davis should be placed back there to return it just in case. Before the timeout was called, Ryan Smith was back there. He was, in no way, a threat with the ball, and Chris Davis was Auburn's most dangerous return man.

I yelled at my wife after that.

She was saying the clock ran out, I was like no the play keeps going in football. Then she said it wasn't a legal play, I said yes it is. Then she tried to say he stepped out of bounds and I just snapped "No we fricking lost! We were stupid and they played better than us and it's over!"

Basically she was still in denial and I had moved on to anger.

I had never done that before or since. I still feel bad about it.

I'm pretty sure Marlon Humphrey, one of our freshmen corners, did just that. Could be wrong though.

- Vandy would nearly score after Scott's run, but we were able to hold them off in the last minute. The lead changes in the last 2:30 of that game were exciting as that game was a CFB Kickoff game.

McCluster's TD run against UT for a 280 yard/4 TD game was insane. Him finding a hole in that run and then cutting the field back Reggie-style was just an amazing play on top of an amazing performance. Granted neither team was doing all that well. This isn't the last run, but this was one of the 4 showing his elusiveness:

The sack we had against LSU in Oxford several years ago and then Les mismanaging the clock. Awesome atmosphere.

Senquez's INT against Bama 2014.

Wallace/Moncrief performance against Miss St.

A WAOM moment I can recall was Green-Ellis fumbling on the 1 as we were about to either take the lead against Vanderbilt to win the game or tie it. That was my Freshman year at OM.

Just a few to name.
