I was thinking that but really the Goal Line Stand against PSU in 79 was bigger.quote:
I agree.
As epic and awesome as the Strip was, it was a play that ended up not counting.
I agree with the Goal Line Stand for Bama.
But, the George Teague strip counted. He kept Miami from scoring a TD.

Regular season sack of a QB on a 6-7 team is LSU's GOAT play/moment? It was a nice hit, but this is kind of sad, no?
ETA: Nevermind, I see you were just responding to the gif of Foster hitting Fournette with a gif of an LSU player rocking a Bama player. Fair enough. Neither belong anywhere in this thread really, but they are entertaining to see.

The Teague strip in the 92 Sugar Bowl. Just astounding play in an astounding game.
That's one of my favorite non-UGA plays.

I'll go with LSU over Oklahoma in the title game.

How do you think I feel about Georgia's undisputed greatest play?

yeah with a Dline hanging on LF.
I don't recall one DB coming up one on one and taking him down.

I wouldn't say the greatest of all time; but Eric Reid's INT off of Maze to give us the ball back to score and the win was great against Bama way back in '11.
the reality this was 5 years ago makes my brain hurt

Nice hit, but ear holed from the side on a kick off is hardly impressive. It's a cheap shot. One on one open field with Buga at full speed see what happens.
That was not a cheap shot. Everyone knows ST kick offs are not for the weak. You need to keep your eyes peeled; and LF7 did get lit up. But he'd be the first to tell the guy, "good hit."
I think I know what you are trying to say; but "cheap shot" is not it; and makes you sound like sour grapes. Dude, just got lit up. That is all.

One I'll never forget is Burke Masters' 9th inning grand slam vs. FL State in the regional in Starkville. He was 6 for 6 that game.
