Mine is the LSU-Notre Dame game in the early 1970's, that LSU won 28 to 8. The best thing I remember about that game is a tremendous goal line stand, as I was very young. Beating the "Golden Helmets" still made an impression on me at that age.

That was my favorite game as well. I was on my recruiting visit to LSU that weekend. Near the end of the game, Pop Strange, who was the head of football recruiting at the time, had to get the recruits and kind of herd us back into the tunnel to the locker room so we wouldn't get run over by stampeding students.

We stood there and watched the students storm the field, and it was bedlam. Bert Jones finally made it through the crowd, but most of his jersey was torn off. The locker room was crazy after the game, and Broussard Hall (the athletic dorm) was alive all night. Great game and a great weekend.

Best game I've watched, '09 SEC Championship game. Two seriously good teams matching up. I really can't remember a game so meaningful and with such high quality teams outside of a national title game.

Best game in person, there's a split between two games.

'94 Bama vs. Georgia. It was my freshman year at Bama and that was one sick comeback, I think my Bama brainwashing was complete after that game.

'98 Iron Bowl in B'Ham when Dennis Riddle scored the last minute TD. It was my last game as a UA student and lets just say I made it count.

BTW - Dennis Riddle was in my orientation group, and he was as sharp as a Nerf basketball. I remember thinking "how is this guy gonna even pass a basic math class". Funny how that works, when he scored that touchdown, I couldn't have cared less if the dude didn't know what a derivative was.

What is your favorite football game ever?

In College Football it has to be the '10 Iron Bowl

But my favorite game of all time is the 1998 NFC championship when The Falcons won in OT at Minnesota. Was at that game and it was incredible. Plus I'm a Falcons fan and games like that are few and far between

Believe it or not I was rooting for the Falcons because I HATE Minnesota (even back then) and Morten Andersen won it

LSU-Tulane 1984. There were 6 fights in the stands where people were thrown out. I may have been very close to the action. Craziest game I ever attended because of the stuff that happened that didn't involve football untill 1 minute left in the game.

1984: The Tulane-LSU game was called off with less than a minute remaining when a bench clearing brawl broke out between the teams on an extra point attempt. English's two-year tenure ended the following week when Tulane announced it would seek a new head coach.

Well...

2001 @ Florida (First win in the Swamp since the '70s)

2003 @ Miami (Snaps Miami's home winning streak which went back to '99)

2005 @ LSU (Down 21-0 at half, win 30-27 in OT)

1991 @ Notre Dame (Down 31-7 just before the half, win 35-34)

1985 vs. Miami in the Sugar Bowl (Some Miami players announce their "embarrassment" at having to play Tennessee, since they felt they should be the national champions. Vols win 35-7)

I could think of more mayhaps.

It was the one good moment in a season that was otherwise a letdown of epic proportions. #3 preseason, people talking Rose Bowl or bust, and we wind up 5-6. Oh well.

The LSU, Notre Dame Game in 1971 was the night I became a life long Tiger Fan. Growing up in Texas I knew nothing about the SEC or LSU for that matter. Within a few months after that game my Dad took a job transfer to New Orleans and the rest is history. After spending over 40 years having seen that game only one time in 1970 on national TV I finally received a copy of the game a month a go. The emotions I had watching that game 40 years later was really nice. I've never seen a Tiger Football team put together a full 60 minutes of bruising football as witnessed in this game. Every play on both sides of the ball was all out war. Here's a short youtube summary of the game. LINK It's classic Saturday Night Football in Tiger Stadium with no upper decks, just very loud fans the way it use to be.

Check out the helmets, band uniforms and how loud the crowd is.

Also check out how the players celebrate during the game. No showmanship, just pure excitement from the players.

Hard to say. The 09 SECCG was great. The 92 and 09 NCs were great. The 08 Iron Bowl was long over due. Watching Shaun Alexander in Death Valley was a blast.

The 10 Iron Bowl was shaping up to be one of faves. Fn cocksmokers.

2007 LSU/Florida

Tebow was in the zone, LSU was down by 10 and there was only 10 min remaining in the game. Still incredible to think how LSU rallied. The game-winning drive was insane. LSU had a 3rd and 18. Flynn couldn't find anything, so he instead scrambled for 17. Then on 4th and 1 Hester got the yard. Of course there were more 4th down conversions to follow.

There's not much else better than watching your team pull out a W when all hope seems lost.

- 2008 Alabama vs Georgia[/b] - blackout what?

- 2009 SEC Championship game - Tebow crying, singing the fight song towards the end of the 4th quarter when we knew it was official that we were going to Pasadena and getting chill bumps when we got to the "Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then.."
i attended all those....i would have to also include:
1. 2002 Bama at UT
2. 2005 UT at Bama
3. 2009 UT at Bama
4. 2008 Bama at LSU

the best non alabama game ive ever been to was the choke at Doak in 94. Spurrier had FSU 31-3 going into the fourth. By the end of the quarter it was 31-31 and FSU was driving when they ran out of time. Best comeback I ever saw in my life and one HELL of n exciting football game.
