If you think the U of Georgia is paying Smart’s entire salary you are a bigger dumbass than I thought.

That's your excuse?
3/5 starting OLine out
Best WR out
Best RB out
2nd best TE out
What would be your excuse in our situation?

The athletic department pays the entire salary for Smart. Unlike most schools, our athletic department makes a profit and pays the university each year (not the other way around).
Our athletic department's funds are public record. Why would miss state need to hide anything? Burner phones and "entertainment" budgets?

What the frick is the deal with these schools from Mississippi and shady shite?
Not as shady as the money Muschamp must have paid your AD to get the job at USCjr.

How is that shady? Booster clubs/foundations pay the majority of salaries for just about every SEC coach

It's always hilarious when a shitty little program like Ole Missdial calls us this.
Enjoy your prestigious 2 wins against Bama because it's the only thing noteworthy you did or will do for some time

This sounds like some shady shite.
EVERY SEC School supplements coaches' pay using 'private' booster club funds. Where you been?

I'm not sure which is the worse measure, 3rd and Grantham or 3rd and Sermon.
+Dan Mullen is in his ninth year at MSU and last year under Sirmon was the ONLY time he hasn't beaten Kentucky. Grantham is a definite upgrade.

The state of Mississippi has some stringent laws on how much public employees are paid and no contract can be longer than four years.
State and Ole Miss have to pay all their coaches weird. A % from the school, a % from the athletic booster club, a % from the foundation, etc.
Grantham makes $1.3 million at State total.

Is it only you or are other Georgia fans just delusional?
Guess you never heard of the "Georgia Bulldog Club" .. the one that from it's website ..
is the fundraising arm of the Athletic Association charged with providing student-athlete scholarships, first class facilities and the financial support necessary to run/operate each of UGA’s 21 varsity sport programs.

The boosters put money directly to athletic department, not envelopes of cash at a drop point for Mel Tucker to go pick every month. Moron.

Thank you for a thoughtful, reasonable, intelligent response.
This makes more sense now.

His entire compensation comes from the University and Athletic department, bro. It doesn't come from boosters, although the athletic department does get money from boosters..... the department gets the vast majority of its funds from the sports programs themselves, unlike Miss St apparently.

You can’t be serious. This is who every coach in the SEC is paid. Hell Mullen only makes like $650,000 a year. The Bulldog Club supplements the rest that isn’t endorsements.
Mark Stoops isn't paid by any booster club. This season he gets $400,000 in actual salary and the other $3.1 million comes from media and endorsements.
Cal may. I'm not sure where the retention bonus comes from.
