So giving up a 17 unanswered points in 4th quarter and going on to lose that game in double OT is outplaying somebody now?
Apparently, Lets not forget we would have scored twice if Davis knew how to not get stripped. We drove the ball to the redzone early twice with Dylan.

You got out played for 3 quarters and the OT's were even, our kicker missed an easy arse field goal, that's hardly an indicator of shite. You had a ridiculous 4th quarter that should never have happened.

Thompson played the majority of the UCF game, but I guess he didn't start per say.

.... And please let's not make this about SC and Mizzou..

Going over arbitrary facts about stats and history from previous years has nothing to do with what'll happen this year when both teams meet..

The beauty of college football is that there's always a star waiting to shine when other stars move on..

I agree. And I think the East will be a dogfight this year. Which is exciting to watch. Any of the teams can win it... I do think people are sleeping on UF this year. They're gonna be a good team...

The East is more exciting than the West right now. The whole "Alabama runs through everybody" narrative is getting old. I can only imagine how fans of West teams feel...

Great post. Stats always tell an interesting story.

As far as the hype, I think Thompson will formidable, but is a definitely downgrade from Shaw, so I need to see a little more of him before I declare him a top notch SEC QB.

And we can easily say you had a ridiculous first 3 quarters. Your point?

Ya pretty sure our season was more indicative of the first 3 quarters then the 4th.

Then Mizzou should have won but they didn't because they weren't ready for the moment.

More like we had a Redshirt Freshmen QB playing and a coaching staff that took the ball out of his hands, couple that with a FG kicker who missed a chip shot and you have a L instead of a W

I would seriously take a bet saying you couldn't stop yourself from talking about South Carolina for a week.

I can't see why you wouldn't consider USCe a contender to win the east. I agree loosing Shaw will hurt but Thompson is no slouch. If I was USCe I would be worried about O-line depth past the starting 5 and the secondary. Both are potential trouble areas.

But every East team has potential trouble areas.

USCe posters have reminded us endlessly of how fricked the Aggies are. Not sure if A&M is going to send the team to Columbia.
