Everybody is still a notch below Alabama. Ole miss, state, auburn, LSU, and atm will beat each other up. Alabama goes back to Atlanta at 7-1.

Add Arkansas to that second list and you're completely correct, IMO.

Yeah forgot about Arkansas... I think the west is more balanced than ever. Alabama is just better... but it's just so difficulty to get through the other six teams unscathed.

Rb and Qb. Maybe the guys coming back from injury? Not sure of a third. Losing D leadership would be mine for yall.

Decline...but not down to LSU or A&M levels.

If he sucks so much, how on earth can he be such a huge loss?

Sweet narrative alteration, brah.

Because his replacement will suck even more.

Dude, don't argue with LSU fans about arse-sucking QBs, mkay? That's our specialty.

We both have depth. Our starting 11 talent isn't as top to bottom as say LSU, Bama, or Auburn, but our depth can match that of any SEC team. When you have depth you have a shot in every game. State's home schedule is favorable.

I think the key to our 2015 season will be QB play and the performance of this year's redshirts. If those two things are positive, I can see us winning 10 and challenging for the West.

Nice subtle way of telling everyone we beat you because your players were inexperienced.

State will be fine so long as they don't have to play Bama, Ole Miss, or Georgia Tech.

, it was an unusual convergence for Alabama, LSU, and auburn to slip a notch while Ole Miss and MSU took two steps forward.

Bama being a 1-loss SEC champion and the #1 seed in the playoff is slipping a notch?
Bama has been in decline - - - they no longer dominate - - - they slip to the #1 ranked team at some point every season.

I remember the last time Mississippi St. took two in a row from LSU. I watched it with Ben Franklin and Honore de Balzac at this hole in the wall bar. Emily Dickinson kept taking her shirt off. Good times.

Nice job turning a rather clear observation into a perceived insult.

Our inexperience was absolutely a factor. So was playing at Ole Miss. And in the other direction, Bo's experience, Treadwell's athleticism, your outstanding defense (probably the best in the country at that point in time), and a bad non-call leading to a touchdown were also factors.

State can't be counted out as they are automatic under Mullen when it comes to playing teams beneath them. Also, Dak is back.

Ole Miss will contend for the West title if they get any semblance of consistent QB play. The offense has a plethora of weapons the offensive line will have a ton of experience and talent. Their defense is going to be filthy. They lose a lot of leadership but the talent is a lot better than last year's D. Everything hinges on QB play and Hugh Freeze having a good game plan (Alabama, Tennessee, State) instead of going door to door asking people if they have heard the Good Word rather than game planning (Arkansas, LSU, TCU).
