What's the story on this?

Alabama believed that Fulmer ratted them out on the Albert Means thing so to find out the truth they planned on serving him at SEC media days as soon as he crossed the state line one year. To get around it he just didn't go to Birmingham that year.

The story was fat Phil wouldn't come in the state because he would get served for ratting out bama. I'm not sure how true it was. I doubt he missed media days and the bama game every other year.

Fulmer skipped out on media days to avoid being served for a civil suit that stemmed from his involvement in the Albert Means case.

That was 2005. There was extra security at the game that season in Tuscaloosa. He eventually got served at SEC Media Days in 2007.

See that's a real rivalry to me. I have been to the UGA/Florida game before and I just didn't feel that kind of intensity.

These guys were over the entrance to the Tennessee locker room during that game.

For a game that ended in a 6-3 win for Alabama, it's one of the most electric atmospheres I've ever been in. Also the second drunkest I've ever been at a game, but nothing comes close to the 2007 LSU game.

From a competitive standpoint?

Auburn/UGA or Auburn/LSU.

From a fanatic standpoint?

UGA/UF.

Except the excessive attack of hemorrhoids that the Dawgs have had this year about Auburn pushes the Auburn/UGA rivalry into both categories.

Bama vs. Florida has been pretty good in recent years.

Not really. One good game and a couple of blow outs

UT/UA has potential to be pretty amazing for the next week years.
LSU/UM is just a fun game on gameday and I've always enjoyed it.
UGA/USCe doesn't get enough attention imho.

Florida/ Georgia if Georgia could make it competitive

Too streaky to be considered.

It's a tie between AU-UGA and Bama-Tennessee.
