Sooooooooo... Let's say a bama player whips his stuff out and pisses on your logo at midfield. Not gonna get upset?
This isn't even remotely close to the same thing as smoking a cigar on the field in celebration after a victory... I mean, this is basically just off the wall, IYAM.

Need an e-hug? Word is that the Aggies are back on the market. That thing with Bama didn't work out.

As far as the OP, I am not going to get upset at twenty-something's smoking cigars in Tiger Stadium. They won.

But the chop blocks your team specializes in? Dirty.

Pretty sure it wasn't a night game.

When I got booted out of the stadium in the first half, I vividly remember it being light outside.

Yup.. looked it up. Kickoff was at 4:06 pm in mid September. Not a night game.

Already been addressed. By the time the arse whipping was complete and cigars smoked, the sun had long since set.

Game started in the afternoon though.

LSU fans are like unstable volcanos - they just explode or retreat in ways that seem odd to everyone else.

The passed out loser getting tea-bagged in the Bourbon Street Krystal is a prime example.
The innocent, passed-out victim of a grown man teabaggin' him is an odd loser? Seems legit...

LSU has no traditional rivals. The other big programs all have at least one in-state rival and one other rival. LSU just kind of sits out there by itself. They see and hear about the heated 365 day/yr rivalry of the Iron bowl or all the stuff with the Cocktail Party, etc. and they instictively feel that, as a major program, something is missing. But they aren't very good at creating it.

Actually the fact that we are the one true big program in our state with no in state rivals in a state as talent rich as Louisiana will keep us relevant for decades to come. Why would we wish to have another in-state powerhouse school to split that in half just for the sake of a rival? No thanks, we will gladly stand as the lone flagship in Louisiana. I mean, If MIssissippi only had Ole Miss right now could you imagine how much better they would be already if not for state?

Wow, you seem scared. Rivals are fun. You must be an only child, I love my brothers and sisters and could not imagine life with out them, especially growing up when we were all competing with each other.

Fellas, let's let this drop....it's a silly argument! Let's talk about something we can all agree on, Chaz Ramsey's block on Glenn Dorsey was a cut block not a chop block.

Glad AU embraces that cigar game, but Karma is bitch as they haven't won in TS since. Smoke that.

Back in 86 we stormed Auburn's field and tore up their midfield logo, stomped on it, and didn't leave until they hosed us down.

Found a post from 1993 on the old rec.sport.football.college newsgroup that I found interdasting:

Ahhhhh... rsfc. Those were the days.

I was elected to the RSFC Hall of Fame, Class of 2002.

Those were the days... and then it went to shite.

Oh ok, in that case, please tell us how it was it being the outcast step-child little brother in that relationship?

Yep. I was gonna bring that up as something that qualifies as disrespect. Not this candy arse shite the bleeding vaginas at LSU get upset over.

That was a cold night so those hoses could not have felt good.

Also, I went down to the field in Athens in '95 and ripped a big damn piece of hedge up and kept it as a trophy for a decade.

The mini-bottles and cups being thrown at the security people didn't help either.

Classic.

I think this is the first honest account of this event on here. I was expecting the "water canons"

Oh, so you were referring to anything and everything that they might not approve of? B/C it seems that they whine about every single thing they even THINK has happened to them.

Great examples of this include the "paying of the refs" after the no-call on pass interference and the supposed "chop block" from Chaz. Sorry Dorsey had weak knees to support his obesity and could not handle the rigors of normal football.

and also yes, it was very disrespectful. I don't really care if auburn people get why or not. It just is.
