They always get defensive, but defending the place where you grew up is human nature I suppose. I've been in Louisiana my whole life. Been to NOLA dozens of times over the years, and not just to the FQ. It's definitely a unique city with lots of history and culture, and there's no doubt that it's an amazing & fun place to visit. But let's face it, the corruption and crime is and has been completely out of control for years and years. Until the locals accept that fact and pressure the officials to clean the mess up, the perception of the city being a "shithole" will remain true. Will never happen though, it's part of the culture that they all embrace

I wouldn't blame this so much on New Orleans as much as her just being trashy. She wasn't even on bourbon she was in a damn stadium

She'd probably just been on Bourbon before the game and those "couple drinks" she consumed made her forget where she was when she rolled into the stadium.

Were probably two Hurricanes from Pat O'Brien's, which would, of course, basically send anyone for a loop.
People come to New Orleans and have a "couple drinks" and are basically wasted because the drinks are so large and have so much alcohol content.
