It just struck me that the Auburn horse-collar play may actually bug Auburn fans as much (more?) as it bothers us.
But I'll add the word potentially to my comment.
Without that "tackle" .....
There isn't a person alive who believes Johnny couldn't score on just one play.

At least you know it wasn't an interception. I give credit to you.

For Aggie, you can probably add anybody making fun of their weird traditions. Milk men cheerleaders, fake army, yell practice, worship of a dog, etc

Meh, not even a little unless you decide to be lame and break Godwin's law.

I know what you mean though. Had a penalty been called, JFF would have more than likely scored...but you never know. He could have thrown another INT or fumbled the next play as well.

I think it does bother them more. Auburn fans want to look back and know they won the SEC as fair as possible, but that play doesn't allow them to do that. They know it tarnishes their accomplishment.

Dude that is the last play I think about. You are the ones that bring it up constantly. We won the game, it doesnt matter. No horsecollar. 45-41. DWI.

Name a team that won the SEC that did it completely "fair" and had no controversy calls for or against them.

Sure it was.

It was the right call and went in favor of LSU but this Aggie is mopin around like AU is the first team to win in Atlanta with no controversy.

Nope had a controversial call from the referees go their way in the regular season meeting against Alabama.

Alabama's tight end appeared to catch a pass near the end zone, but the referees gave LSU an interception instead. Alabama fans were pissed about that call until they beat LSU in the rematch

You must not have received notification of today's emergency Board of Regents/campus-wide summit: "How to Address auburnphan23's Opinions of Texas A&M University's Traditions."

It was called an interception..then confirmed an interception. Just because Gump's didn't get their way for once in a fricking blue moon doesn't make it "controversial"
