I really don't understand how Bama fans can say this and then brag about PSU with a straight face. PSU is not better than WVU.
PSU might hold WVU to 24 points, but PSU scored more than that on exactly one BCS team this year.
So either hang your hat on PSU but allow WVU in the discussion, or leave them both off.

Well we also won 11 other games, but I dont think anyone doesn't think that we got in because our loss was to a better team than Iowa State.

I guess you got me with that compelling argument.
I'd take WVU -10 against that terrible PSU offense and defense that is not close to as good as LSU's defense (I'm sure you've boomed LSU at one point or another with WVU offensive prowess in that game).
In any case, to laugh off WVU and pretend PSU is a legit response to a question about Bama's best wins is hackish.

11-1 would be LSUs best record from 1958 to 2010. It's a down year for us. That's when you know you're a badass, when everyone bitches that your 11 wins were too easy when you play in the best division and best conference. Maybe you swampers will get there with a few more undefeated seasons. Meanwhile, it has to suck knowing your perfect season could be one giant fail by January 10.

yes, we are all devastated we won on November 5th and now get to show the country twice this season who the better team is. but this time, everything is on the line, the stakes are higher, and more people will be watching.
is it possible LSU fans just enjoy friendly banter or is that only possible for Gumps?
