I wouldn't call it a weakness. They have 11 sacks on the season with 6 coming in one game against Western Kentucky and 3 of those came from AJ holding the ball too long.

As far as something that can be conceived as "weak" in relation to everyone else..there is not an area you can point to. As far as an area that can be conceived as weaker compared to the rest of the team I would put the o-line up there, which I never thought i'd be saying in september..we expected them to be flat out dominant. When we get into QB debates though the rest of the posters here will tell you that AJ is only good because of his all world o-line, then the same people will knock the o-line in another thread.

I don't think there is a position unit on the team that you couldn't argue is top 10 nationally. Everyone hates to hear it, but Alabama has a better chance of fricking up between the ears than someone does of flat out beating them. What I mean by that is no one in the country can touch alabama when they bring their "A" game

Im just messin anyhow. The Dixie is prob one of those places that were important to your parents when the bar scene was smaller in school. Nothing wrong with that.

All you bammers. When I come to T-Town for the State game I don't plan on attending the game. I would be in the nosebleeds and I assume it will be extremely cold. What bar should I go to to watch the game? And where all the hunnies go out?

I've lived (term used loosely) in Abilene. You are frickin stoned. The only things that ever came outta Texas worth a damn was Stevie Ray Vaughn, Carrol Shelby, and I-20.

Gallettes or Innisfree. The ladies will be at both but I would give a slight edge to Gallettes.

There's no glaring weakness. Truly. I guess haven't been overly impressed with the OL to this point. esp. not for the talent that is playing on it. It's not that they're not a top-tier unit but they aren't blowing people off the ball in the run game and haven't been as dominant pass blocking as the preseason hype.

Having said that, 'Bama is going to have to play like crap for anyone on the schedule to have a good shot. If they play to their standard they will roll to another NC.

I've been to Tuscaloosa a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

They let students stand in the concourse under the student section instead of sending them to the upper deck. It's annoying as f*ck. Those f*ckers are always in the way.

One reason is Lacy has been injured. I know what you're thinking. "Why does that matter when it comes to OL blowing people off of the ball?"

You've got to feed the OL. We've gotta give them more runs early on to get them interested. Lacy being hurt and not doing much when he gets holes has caused us to not feed the OL enough early on and they don't get going or interested enough to continue to blow people off of the line.

It's also partly because OL block in correlation to the effort the RB gives them sometimes. Lacy hasn't been able to give it his all most of the time, and Yeldon is a Freshman. I think post bye week we start back on our Michigan game like performance with the run game, and we start having more WKU game like performances with the pass game as well.
