They are pretty stacked from top to bottom

I think their biggest weakness is probably QB, and McCarron is a really good QB imo

I can name a weakness in just about every team, but can't pin point Bama's. I love my Ags, but redzone scoring, secondary, and always-scrambling-even-with-open-receivers are things we really need to work on.

how Saban can get kids to live in Alabama for 4-5 years is beyond me

Their weakness is they have not been tested yet.

You never know how a team will respond under pressure until it happens. They are very good. That is the only thing I see.

Nope. The secondary and lack of a pass rush is probably the weakest. Run blocking leaves much to be desired right now.

Lack of depth at the offensive skill positions and injuries - no solid qb behind mccarron, no big time receivers (yet)

We've been decimated at RB. What was an incredible stable is now paper-thin. Lacy has been hobbled all year, Hart is out for the season, Fowler is out for the season, Sims has been converted to QB.

DJ Fluker on the line has been quite suspect. Our line has not been as absolutely dominating as everyone thought they would be.

Our defense is young so you would think blown assignments and mental mistakes would be a big issue (like in 2010) but it hasn't yet.

They aren't exactly stellar when run outside the tackles. I think Ole Miss proved that.

really? yalls oline looks pretty good, but I don't follow Bama that closely, and if your secondary needs work you should check out ours

Why would anyone want to go to a school with a gorgeous campus, world-class facilities, and one of the largest fanbases in the world?

Well my brother lives in Bryan, I've visited him several times and I can tell you there is a lot more going on in Tuscaloosa than in College Station. I also had a history prof at Bama who was previously at A&M and he made fun of that podunk town all the time.

Consistency. We have played very well at all positions and phases of the game, but not all at the same time. If we show up and don't play well in several areas on the same night against the wrong team we will lose.

McCarron has been the strength of the offense by far this year. Running game has been the weakness, but the offense has been more balanced this year, so the stats can be deceiving. Honestly though, Alabama's biggest weakness is that they haven't played anyone remotely close to their level.

Right, the people who say that haven't actually watched Bama this year. They think we're the old grind it out offense of the past. We're not. We're a pass-first team now.

No doubt. Probably 80% of McCarron's numbers have come in the first half. Seems like the strategy has been to spread defenses out with the pass and try to open up lanes to run the ball. The first half of Bama's games this year have been very pass heavy.

I only really watched the beginning (until yall started blowing them out) of the michigan game and the highlights since

I'm not saying McCarrons bad at all, but every other aspect seems really solid especially Lacy & Yeldon, and the defense as a whole...

Again, don't watch every play, but from a opposing team's view, they are quite intimidating

but with my maroon glasses on, and logic out, I'm saying we pull out with a W @Bryant Denny

McCarron has been far more effective and consistent than Lacy. Yeldon hasn't played enough since the UM game to make a judgment.

You really need to look at some more stats or highlights. McCarron is our biggest offensive strength. Not that our running game is bad, but it does kinda concern me considering our reliance on the running game in the past.

Saban is doing all he can to stave off overconfidence. It's why he bitches at the media every day now (it used to be only once a week)

The team is to young for pride to be an issue.

Their biggest asset was depth.

Losing Fowler really hurt as he was the most versatile player in the offense. Fowler was the best HB, second best RB, and best pass blocker.

Dee Hart is a great returner and really brought a wrinkle to the offense with his outside running ability.

DeAndrew White was probably the second/third best WR. Although he was the best Slot WR hands down; also a formidable deep threat.

Gone are the years where the defense had to hold people under 21pts to win a game. With the leash off McCarron the defense can afford a few mistakes. Which there have not been many to begin with this season.

If the offense can mantain its current potency with the lose of so much depth then I don't see anyone challenging the Tide until the SECCG.

USCe plays a similar style and have the elite pass rushers to give Bama a gritty game. If they're not tested before the SECCG Bama may stumble when facing adversity,

I take pride and confidence in the fact this thread hasn't reached page two despite numerous honest bama posts.
