Because the issue of bama oversigning is not speculation. It is pretty well documented and proven as well as saban being upset by the issue and recently lying about both greyshirts and medicals.
Honestly I do not get why bama fans attempt to argue. It is well documented and obvious. It is frustrating for me when gumps try to argue something that is not speculation but a well documented "process" and result.
Saban oversigns, he creates medical redshirts that are not necessary and he greyshirts players that did not know they would be forced to greyshirt when they sign.
All this is pretty obvious and documented. I really do not get why people still want to fight and argue with me and everyone else on the issue.

This whole thread is full of fail.
Scarbo writes a piece about oversigning..which is not against any rules but violates the "spirit" of the rule per some.
Yet several articles linked show anywhere from 2002-present and 2006-present that Alabama numbers do not support the claim scarbo and the boogs try to support.
When will you guys learn?
I mean this shite is right up there with the boogs who were bitching about CK's dad not allowing CK to make his own decision yet the boogs were alright with diddy nutron making cams decision. Do you see the pattern?

If college scholarships were a 4 year contract, I would understand the criticism more. I fully understand the issue, and the concern for exploitation, but players have the choice not to sign.
It would seem people expect colleges to employ some sort of tenured benefit to players. With scholarship limits, this is an unrealistic expectation.

I think that if Auburn had the means to have players willing to play for them despite a risk of being cut or recategorized if they didn't perform, some of the people in this thread would be less squeaky.
