Wisconsin- don't think the coach matters, it would be whether Etling was ready or not. If he could have played, we have a better chance of winning.
I say "better", because Harris has more mobility. Take the play he threw the interception- Etling would have been sacked for a big loss. Harris slipped the sack, but then made a bone-head play.

Auburn's a tossup with either coach.

Ole Miss, you could argue either way; some might say Miles would have screwed it up, but let's be honest here: calling runs for Fournette is what won the game, and it's what Les would have done.

Arkansas game, could also have been a tossup; Les might have had the same 1st half, then called off the pressure too early and allowed them to rally.

Alabama game- I'll play devil's advocate here. At some point in the second half, Les would have put Harris in for a couple of series. Who knows- he might blow it again like against Wisconsin... or he might have thrown the Bama defense off balance with some scrambles. We'll never know, but I think it was pretty clear that the offense as planned was not going to get in.

All things considered, I think we need a new coach. Not the interim one; he's just playing Les ball, and I think Les would do that better.

This board has unfortunately been tainted with mindless posters just like the OP. How about you bring to the board a meaningful thread for discussion. The dislike on here for LSU posters/fans is so strong that baseless claims about the LSU Tigers continue to flood this board.

With coach O at the helm what else did you need to see in the embarrassing offensive performance against Bama that nothing is any different.

I know Bama fans like numbers and stats, so lets take a look at these numbers.

Miles Tigers
14-16 L
34-13 W
23-20 W
13-18 L

Coach O's Tigers
42-7 W
45-10 W
38-21 W
0-10 L
38-10 W

Here's LSU's schedule to date. I thought it would be wise to use ALL the games instead of just choosing the Bama game to determine if real change could be seen. You can clearly see a difference in offensive and defensive production.

Coach O can't revamp it but at least he's been able to pump enough life into it to blowout the shite teams. That's something that wasn't even happening under Miles.

Agreed

The life and the excitement with the players is at a different level. They seem to be fresh and all over the field. Every player is playing at a higher level.
