Would have beat Auburn and Wisconsin without him.

Pretty simple here baw, listen up.

Elmer Fudd should have been let go after the Tex am game last year.
Had that happened LSU beats wisc and auburn and maybe even Alabama.

Where would Vegas put LSU vs wisc and LSU vs auburn if it were played tommorrow?
I'd say LSU is favored in both.
Alabama would stay same.

Hence the title - what is in the water in Louisiana. I really don't see anything different in any game that would say LSU would unequivocally beat anyone they lost too

Which means you've watched one game. The offense is much much different.

The team is playing much like the 2011 team at this point. That was the year of the 9-6 Bama game.

I don't think it's fair to judge CEO because he didn't score against our defense. We have 6-8 first round NFL draft guys on our defense and all 11 plus several backups will play in the NFL in the next couple of years. LSU is definitely playing a lot better since he took over and what could you ask for except to be a one loss (only to Bama) team going into a bowl game?

They are running on teams that can't stop the run

They aren't running on teams that can stop the run

What is the fricking difference

Seriously.

Auburn offense sucks balls and they scored 56 on Arkansas.

Every college football team lives in my head. And when their fans are being dumbasses, I will let them know about it

He started Brandon Harris at QB vs Wisconsin

He mismanaged the clock at Auburn on the "game winning" drive

Les Miles LITERALLY was the cause of those two losses. Both very winnable games. Two teams we would destroy with Coach O

Arkansas is a joke. Look at what Auburn put up running on them. NCAA records. Of course LSU was going to win that game. Miles or no Miles. And you sure as hell were going to struggle against Wisky, Auburn and Bama. Miles or no Miles. Those defenses are the best in the nation.

Yes, LSU's offensive production in those 3 losses was nothing short of terrible. LSU lost those 3 games only by a combined 17 points with that "embarrassing" offense.

The LSU defense gave up a total of 3 TD's to Wisky, Auburn, Bama & Arkansas combined.

Is LSU's defense really that good or do these 4 teams have offensive deficiencies as well?

Look, LSU came out flat as a pancake in every game with Miles on the sideline this year. Our team would have totally flat-lined after loss #2 without firing Miles and having Orgeron fire the team up about the rest of the season. Miles had lost the ability to motivate them. They didn't even score 35 points against Jacksonville St. We were getting worse with Miles.

Ole Miss and Arkansas beat the living shite out of LSU last year. Based on the last few years, at least one of those two (if not both) would have beaten our arse with Miles on the sideline (most likely Arkansas because Miles had lost by 17 in back-to-back seasons against them and had a losing record at Arkansas). With Orgeron, LSU beat Arkansas worse than Miles ever beat them during his whole time at LSU. Also, Orgeron beat Ole Miss by 18. Miles never beat them by more than 7 points in Tiger Stadium. Miles would have lined up and run the same tired plays and Ole Miss probably would have shut them down enough to outscore LSU.

of same opinion. Some may have been closer under Miles than they've been under O (probably a result of Miles/Cam play calling), but I think the record would be the same.

Maybe, but on the other hand LSU had a close brush even with Miss St with Les. The offense was so pitiful and the preseason goals so lofty, I think the team would've quit for Les.

LSU was seriously reeling this year with Miles and no changes on offense. The offense, defense and special teams are all playing much better now (minus our punt return game).

Dude we were one stupid Harris mistake from beating wisky..... if O is coach he realizes that Harris struggles with pressure and knowing he's already in long distance field goal range would hand the ball to #7. He was having a great day and would've gained a couple more to help Colby. Your whiny bitch arse can have the auburn game even though I think that one turns out differently as well.....
