I'm not trying to flame...

I just think it's a little unfair that in order for LSU to be the NC...they have to beat AL not once, but twice in the same season.

If AL wins, then they split the games for the year having beat AL once already at AL which, in my opinion, still doesn't determine the NC. One more game would.

Just curious how the LSU fans feel about that.

If we lose so be it. I consider going undefeated in the regular season and winning the SEC Championship a helluva an accomplishment. By any stretch, it is a great season for LSU.

It's the system we play in. However, I don't think many other teams would've been given the same consideration and attention as Bama. Not to mention the shadiness of some of the polls. Some people in the Harris poll ranked Houston over OSU.

Plus, LSU was penalized for beating Alabama for having to play an extra SEC game against a streaking Georgia team. Personally, I would have rather LSU played Ok St. Not because of being worried about playing alabama, but because then LSU would have beaten the Pac10, Big East, and Big 12 champions, would have won the SEC West and won the SEC Championship Game. Hard to top that season.

Hey man we are in it to win in.......We have lined up against 13 teams and knocked them all down....I'm not sure why anyone would think that we won't beat Bama again. The confidence that the national media and their own fans have in the Tide is laughable.

They didn't have to beat us the first time. If they had lost, they would have gotten in the same way we did.

Most believe LSU will still be awarded the AP national championship regardless of what happens...

If we lose we still had a helluva year! This was suppose to be our rebuilding year with players to young to win a NC. We are ahead of plan with a tremendous team coming back for next year!

This argument is full of all sorts of fricked up logic.

for the record, i'm totally down for a game 3 at Tiger stadium if they lose. I'm sure the media could get behind that.

Good point....if that had happened, however, would you think it was fair that LSU got another shot at beating a Bama team that they already lost to to win the NC?
