Why would Texas care about TV markets amirite? Longhorns network rite?!?!?! Screw revenue sharing rite?!?!?@!#

?????

We get our tier 1 & tier 2 revenue from the shared conference TV deal AND we get the LHN $.

By the way, to address your "Screw revenue sharing rite" comment:

#1 Every original Big 12 member, including all of the teams that left, voted in favor of conference members retaining their Tier 3 rights to do with as they please.

#2 Before the SEC Network, the SEC was EXACTLY the same. Florida had their own TV deal with the Sunshine network, and there were others.

Please remind us because we're struggling to find information about it - what bowl is UTw playing in? I'd love to watch that game.

Texas is terrible. We suck, and Tom Herman will last 3 years and get fired as well. Our university leadership is clueless when it comes to sports. Still, we have 4 post WWII football championships to A&M's zero.

Think you're reading too much into my sarcasm.

Seriously though it's no secret the Horns and Sooners bullied that conference into what it is today.

I guess for A&M it is time to celebrate
Playing in Texas Bowl must be a big deal for the Aggies
After all they have not been relevant since Dat Nguyen was making Rockport proud as an Aggie

Top 5 in 2012/2013 = not relevant. Got it.

Top 4 in CFP poll in 2016 (even if we shite all over it over the next four weeks) = not relevant. Got it.

Losing to Kansas for the first time in 76 years, breaking their 4-year conference losing streak = relevant. Got it.

He's white. Your school will give him at least 5 years.

As of today post 100 year decision A&M looks awfully like pre 100 year decision A&M with their 4th place finishes and obsessing about rivals.

And with million of dollars we would have never had in the Big 12.

Not at all. I think we're all fairly disgusted... but not as disgusted as UT fans. A&M IS, after all, bowl-eligible. Not that that means a lot but it is a helluva lot better than NOT bowl eligible.

Posting this one more time because I'm an a-hole, and it is already irrelevant but not as irrelevant as it will be - you know, after the bowl games:

Texas' arrogance and greed is the reason teams left the Big-12.

The SEC equal revenue sharing model is fundamental to the SECs successful overall revenue growth. Result is a much bigger pie with bigger equal slices.

Relevant is winning a conference championship or a BCS/ New Years 6 Bowl

Cotton Bowl in 2013 was not a BCS Bowl

A&M left because they felt like they couldn't win

Guess what they still can't win

Can't always run from your problems

A conference slate that includes Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi St, and South Carolina every year plus the rotating East game > Big 12 schedule.

That's really funny because you poor horns told us all that beating a sub .500 Notre Dame was proof of relevance

Because we are all he has.

We are his boss at work

We are the Mercedes parked next to his Prius

He hates us because we are superior to him in every measurable way

One of us must have fricked his wife. That's the only way to explain this unhealthy amount of hatred for Aggy.

UT bowl record since the big nasty breakup:
2012: Beat Oregon State in the Alamo Bowl, 31-27. Congrats!
2013: Alamo Bowl again, lost to Oregon 30-7. Oops.
2014: Texas Bowl, which Aggies aren't supposed to be excited about, lost to Arkansas 31-7. Ouch. That would be the last-place SECW team Arkansas (3-5 SEC) in '14, if you're interested.
2015: Not bowl eligible, but hey, neither was Iowa State
2016: Not bowl eligible, but again, you're on par with Iowa State, so you have that going for you.
